Residents of Mid Ulster District Council, Magherafelt and surrounding areas please fill in this consultation form to help with the possibility of creating a walk park for all that is not a cemetery. If you would like to add your own proposal to create new activities to benefit the communities, feel free to suggest it.
The Council is inviting residents to have their say on its Corporate Improvement Objectives for the year ahead - we'd like to hear your views on the proposed objectives we've set.
Chair of the Council’s Policy and Resource Committee, Councillor Malachy Quinn, is encouraging residents to take part in the consultation, saying:
“For 2025 to 2026, we have identified three key objectives that we believe will make a real difference to our district. First, we want to enhance the customer experience by embedding a culture that puts residents at the heart of how our services are accessed. Second, we aim to provide diverse and inclusive opportunities for children and young people to develop skills, stay active, and participate in their communities. Finally, we are committed to reducing Council’s carbon emissions through our sustainability strategy and climate action plan.
“We want to hear from residents about whether these priorities reflect what matters most to them. Your feedback is essential in helping us shape services that truly meet the needs of the community. The consultation is open until Friday 25 April at 12 noon, and I would encourage everyone to take part."
