Save this if leaking happens when you move 👇

This isn’t about failure, effort or “doing more exercises”.
It’s about timing, strength and coordination.

The EMS chair helps retrain all three —
when it’s used properly and thoughtfully.

Every client in my clinic gets tailored sessions plus honest, free advice beyond the chair — because I care deeply, and I understand this personally too.

Can we normalise something?

Wearing a pad every day.
Knowing where every toilet is.
Going “just in case” before leaving the house.

So many women think it’s just part of getting older, having kids, or menopause.

It isn’t.

It’s simply a sign the pelvic floor needs support — and with the right plan, that can change.

No rush.
No judgement.
Just honest conversations and proper care.

Be honest for a second…
Would you feel confident wearing a pad on your summer holiday?

If that made you pause, you’re not alone.

And just after Christmas, many women notice symptoms feel worse:
• more sitting
• richer food
• alcohol
• less movement

All of this can irritate the bladder and pelvic floor, increasing urgency, leaks, and that constant “just in case” feeling.

Here’s the key point 👇
Irritation doesn’t mean damage — and pads aren’t the solution.

It usually means your bladder and pelvic floor need support, not silence.

From experience:
Pelvic floor rehab takes time — and experience is what makes that time work.

That’s why change doesn’t happen overnight.
It starts with understanding what’s happening now and giving the body time to respond.

No pressure.
No decisions today.
Just know there are natural, non-surgical options.

🥂 Make 2026 the year you go dry (pants).

Tonight is the last night we pretend
wearing a pad is “just normal”.

Leaks aren’t a personality trait.
Pads aren’t a solution.
And planning your night around the loo?
Not the vibe.

If fizz makes you wee.
If dancing makes you cross your legs.
If laughing has consequences…

That’s not age.
That’s not “just after kids”.
That’s your pelvic floor asking for support.

🎄 Why Christmas makes your bladder misbehave… 🎄

Ever noticed that urgency hits the second you stand up after sitting for ages on the sofa?
It’s not random – here’s what’s actually happening 👇

🪑 Too much sitting = confused bladder signals
When you sit for long periods (hello sofa, car journeys, festive films):
• The bladder gets compressed
• Nerve signals get dulled
• Your brain doesn’t get the “we’re filling up” memo properly

Then you stand up…
Gravity kicks in, pressure shifts, nerves wake up…
🚨 Sudden urgency. Right now.

🍷 Add alcohol + dehydration = double trouble
Alcohol irritates the bladder and dehydrates you.
Less fluid = more concentrated urine = more urgency + stinging sensations.

💧 Festive fix:
For every alcoholic drink → add a glass of water
(Not boring. Just bladder-saving.)

💩 Let’s talk bowels (because Christmas = backups)
Constipation puts direct pressure on the pelvic floor and bladder.
That pressure can trigger:
• Urgency
• Leakage
• Heaviness
• That “everything’s about to drop” feeling

🎁 Pelvic-friendly Christmas tips:
✔️ Get up and move every 30–45 mins
✔️ Hydrate alongside alcohol
✔️ Don’t ignore the urge to poo
✔️ Use a footstool when on the loo
✔️ Gentle walks = pelvic floor relief

✨ This isn’t “just age” or “just Christmas”.
It’s fixable physiology.

🚨 3AM AGAIN?! 🚨

You’re cosy.
You’re half asleep.
And then your brain whispers…
“Better go for a wee.”

You shuffle to the loo.
Barely anything happens.
Back to bed.

⏰ 3am: Here we go again.

Here’s the plot twist 👇
It’s not your bladder waking you up.
It’s your brain on autopilot.

Years of:
• “Just in case” wees
• Post-baby habits
• Stressy seasons
• Night-time hyper-alert mode

Your body learned that night = bathroom breaks.

The good news?
Learned patterns can be unlearned.
Without pads.
Without meds.
Without “this is just my age”.

done the rehab, done the research —

WARNING: The winter cough is out here ruining pants.
That chesty hack.
That surprise sneeze.
That “oh no… not now” moment in Tesco.

If you leak when you cough, this is the bit most women get wrong ⤵️

❌ Clenching all day “just in case”
❌ Holding your breath
❌ Bracing like you’re about to lift a car

That actually makes leaks more likely.

✅ What to do instead (The Knack — done properly):

👉 Quick, squeeze UP (not super hard) just before you cough
👉 Breathe OUT as you do it
👉 Then fully relax again after

That’s it.

Not a hard clench.
Not holding everything tight all day.
Not panic-mode.

Your pelvic floor needs to be relaxed most of the time so it can react quickly when it needs to.
If it’s already clenched? It’s got nothing left when a cough hits.

Think of it like this:
A door already slammed shut can’t close any tighter 🚪

✨ Relax first → quick squeeze → let go again
That timing is what stops leaks.

If this just made you think “why has nobody ever explained it like that?” — you’re not alone.

💬 DM me to book your FREE consultation and trial if winter sniffles are making life awkward. And may your next sneeze be uneventful 😏

⚠️ WOMEN ARE LEAKING, SAGGING & SUFFERING — AND THE SYSTEM CALLS IT NORMAL ⚠️

🚨 1 IN 3 WOMEN LEAK URINE.
🚨 UP TO 1 IN 2 WILL DEVELOP PROLAPSE.
🚨 1 IN 5 WILL HAVE PELVIC FLOOR SURGERY.

READ THAT AGAIN.

Now the truth they don’t warn you about
❌ Surgery often fails — many women need repeat surgery or live with ongoing symptoms.
❌ Forceps & vacuum births significantly increase lifelong bladder, bowel & prolapse damage.
❌ Vaginal birth permanently alters pelvic support — even if you “felt fine” for years.

And what are women told?
“Pads exist for a reason.”
“Welcome to motherhood.”
“It’s just age.”

THAT IS MEDICAL GASLIGHTING.

Leaking isn’t ageing.
Prolapse isn’t “bad luck.”
Pads aren’t treatment.
Silence isn’t consent.

The real scandal?
Most women are never offered proper pelvic rehab — because GPs don’t have the time, training or tools.

✨ I do.
This is a women’s clinic — not a 7-minute GP appointment.
Pelvic rehab. EMS therapy. Hormones. Bowel & bladder retraining.
Real answers. Real fixes. Real dignity.

Did you leak today?
If you’re a daily pad wearer and already thinking “I can’t wear a pad in a bikini” when summer pops into your head, it’s time to stop normalising it.

I’m a qualified PT, nutritionist and menopause coach, and I’ve lived this myself — felt it, leaked it, fixed it. This is a women’s clinic, not a quick zap and go. You get proper advice: why it’s happening, what’s making it worse (exercise, hormones, lifestyle), and what actually needs changing. I listen where doctors often don’t and look at the whole picture, not just your bladder.

🎁 £100 off any course when bought as a gift voucher
✔️ Redeemable until 31 Jan
✔️ Free consult and honest guidance included

Fix it now.
Enjoy summer without pads.

Leaking wee? You need to check your p**p. I’m not joking. 😳

When bowels gets backed up, it literally presses against your bladder (they sit right next to each other).

More pressure =
👉 more urgency
👉 more leaking
👉 more “I’ve just been and I need to go again”

And when you strain, you push DOWN on the muscles that are supposed to lift everything UP. That’s how constipation causes leaks and prolapse over time. I’ll teach you how to evacuate properly without causing any pressure.

Have a look at this Bristol Stool Chart – because if you’re not somewhere around a Type 3–4, your bowels are not happy and neither is your bladder.

Bladder issues are almost never “just bladder”.
