Looking for First Aid equipment?

We regularly get asked by learners about buying First Aid equipment such as First Aid kits and tick tools on our courses.

In the past we have had a few specific items for sale - and that will continue on some courses. We are not, however, a box shifter. Selling items is a full-time Business, never mind the storage requirements needed and the need for volume and efficiency in a commodity market. We won't be adding that to the Business.

So where does 4 Minutes buy its training consumables from?

We have tried a number of Suppliers over the years and one that is consistently reliable and great value is Jax First Aid.

'I want my heart attack story to inspire people to live life'

Nestled on the riverside next to Shrewsbury's English Bridge, surrounded by trees and patches of flowers, is a bright red bench - a bench with a powerful story.

If you take a closer look at its gold plaque, it becomes clear that it is dedicated in living memory of someone, rather than someone who has died.

That person is Faith Harrison, 24, from Little Minsterley, who survived a seven-hour heart attack at the age of 22 in January 2024.

2025 in numbers for 4 Minutes First Aid Training

150 courses delivered across the UK - an average of 3 a week and over 200 teaching days
That's 1,000+ learners that have learned valuable new skills or refreshed existing ones

Most courses in 1 day - 5

Furthest ahead Booking as of December - September 2026.
20 Private Courses already Booked in for 2026 on top of our 20 or so public courses.

Most Northerly course - Haddington on the outskirts of Edinburgh
Most Southerly course - Penzance
Most Easterly course - Cromer
Most Westerly course - Penzance, again

Staff numbers increased by 50% - we took on our first full-time Trainer / Development Manager.

Office space increased by 100% to accommodate the additional staff member and training materials.

Business turnover up by 20% despite holding prices - consequence of additional Business gained.

❤ Defibrillator & Bleed Kit ❤

We now have a public access box hosting a Defibrillator and a Critical Bleed Kit situated in our car park.

This will serve:
• Visitors to the Farm.
• Neighbours on Westport Avenue and surrounding streets.
• Anyone using Clyne Common and Clyne Woods (the public gate to the Common is visible on the left of the photo).

To open the box, call 999. The operator will give you the access code.

We truly hope it is never needed, but it brings peace of mind knowing it is here if it ever is.

We have been trying for many years to get a public access defib at Clyne. Thank you so much to Councillor Chris Evans and Heartbeattrustuk for making this happen ❤

With all the talk about AI taking over the world and training going online, sometimes you just can't beat a face to face training course with a real person to get the message across.

A good trainer will get the course content across to the learners, a great trainer will also ensure that they go away feeling confident and positive, even if they were not looking forward to it in the first place.

Mental Health First Aid training

4 Minutes is pleased to announce it has taken on a new full-time Trainer, Chris.

Chris comes from a Met Police background where he delivered a lot of their general training and is a welcome addition to the team. He will be acting as First Aid Trainer, Trainer Manager for our Freelancers and Business Development Manager. In at the deep end.

As well as Teaching our range of First Aid courses, Chris will be the lead Trainer for our range of Mental Health First Aid courses (MHFA), with the first public one running in Bray in October.
