Frustrating block- who's up for the 75 hard challenge?
Hi everyone, I haven’t been on Facebook for a while, but thought it’s a good time to return and ask if you have done, or heard of the 75 hard challenge.
A while back I saw some posts on the 75 hard challenge and decided to check out the criteria for this challenge. The information varies but generally its a 75 days challenge, which includes:
2 x 45 minutes of exercise a day- one of which has to be outdoors
Drinking 4 litres of water each day
Follow a diet whatever that may be
5 minutes of a cold shower
Reading 10 pages of a book each day
No alcohol, and no caffeine
An act of kindness a day
Post your progress daily on social media.
When I looked at the list, I felt all of the above was not an issue for me, apart from ONE !! I am sure many of us have different blocks on our journey through life, and for me, the ONE big block is actually turning up on social media consistently. I know many of you would find this a walk in the park.
Usually, if I put my energy and mind into things, I can do it, but frustratingly this one is different.
A while back, I was guided and was given 9 days to prepare and then to walk The Camino de Santiago – a pilgrim walk across northern Spain which was approximately 500 miles with little preparation. I absolutely loved it and got through it with minimal problems.
Yet, when it came down to showing up on social media regularly, it felt like an uphill climb, which is frustrating. I guess it's fine to have some strengths and weaknesses, we are all going through our human experiences.
So I have decided to take a leap and commit to 75 days of daily posting on social media – either on my Facebook feed, Instagram page, or YouTube channel (or on all platforms).
The main aim of this is to share information on health and well-being, especially helping people to start exercising, and improving health through the understanding of our body, mind, energy and our soul journey.
I am curious to know, do you have any blocks that you wish to work on? Not everyone has the time or can jump into doing the whole list in one go (it doesn’t have to be anything on the list, make it specific for you) but if there is an area in your life you wish to improve on, please feel free to join me on this journey. I hope the contents I share may help you.
Much love, see you tomorrow ###
