The home is set in beautiful, wooded gardens and located a short distance from Stowe House and Gardens. This is a chance to share experiences, find support, and build connections with people in similar situations. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. ☕🍰

🎀 Wear It Pink for Breast Cancer Now! 💗

What a fantastic day we had here at Maids Moreton Hall supporting Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink! Everyone got involved — from our residents to our amazing staff — all dressed in every shade of pink imaginable! 💕

We enjoyed a day full of fun and fundraising, including:
🧁 Delicious pink cakes baked (and quickly eaten!)
🎱 A lively game of Pink Bingo
🍬 A tricky “Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar” challenge

The laughter, smiles, and sea of pink reminded us how powerful it is when we come together for such an important cause. 🌸

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, baked, dressed up, and joined in — every little bit helps make a big difference in the fight against breast cancer. 💖

🎬 A Special Outing to the Cinema! 🍿

We love creating special moments for our residents — and this week, Nurse Donna went above and beyond by taking a very special lady to see the new Downton Abbey movie! 👑✨

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles. Judy absolutely loved seeing her favourite characters on the big screen!

A huge thank you to Nurse Donna for making this special trip possible — it’s thoughtful gestures like these that mean so much to our residents and their families. 💕

🐴💖 Teddy Came to Visit! 💖🐴

We had a very special visitor at the home today – our lovely friend Teddy the pony trotted in to spend some time with the residents. 🥰

Teddy always brings so much joy, laughter, and comfort. There were lots of smiles, gentle cuddles, and even a few treats for him too! It’s amazing how much happiness a little pony can bring. 🌸

Thank you to Teddy (and his handlers) for making the day so bright for everyone here – we’re already looking forward to his next visit! 🌟

These gentle, fun-filled sessions are specially designed to:

🧠 Boost memory and concentration
😊 Enhance mood and reduce stress
🤝 Encourage social interaction

It’s such a joy to see our residents smiling, moving, and feeling the benefits of staying active in a safe and supportive way. 💜

We had the most magical afternoon at our Care Home as we hosted a Proms-inspired musical event. Our very special guest, Tenor Harry Kersley, gave a breathtaking performance that truly moved us all. 💙

Residents were captivated by his beautiful voice, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room as he sang some much-loved classics. Music has such a special way of bringing joy and connection, and today was a wonderful reminder of that.

A heartfelt thank you to Harry for sharing his incredible talent with us — it was a day our residents will cherish. 🌹🎵

🚗✨ Classic Car Memories at Maids Moreton Hall ✨🚗

This weekend, we were treated to a wonderful Classic Car Event, thanks to the members of the Winslow Rotary Club and Resident family members. They brought along their beautiful vintage cars for our residents to admire, sparking lovely conversations and memories of the cars they once owned or loved.

The sunshine was made even sweeter by a visit from the ice cream van – and yes, plenty of 99’s were enjoyed! 🍦😊

A huge thank you to Winslow Rotary Club for so generously giving up their time to share their passion for classic cars with us. You truly made the day special for everyone. ❤️

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Dorothy! 🎂🎉

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our lovely resident Dorothy’s birthday! 💐✨

Our amazing Kitchen Team whipped up a fabulous birthday cake that looked just as good as it tasted – a true showstopper! 🎂👏 And to make the day even more special, our talented visiting singer Paulo Pinto serenaded Dorothy with a beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday 🎶🎤 – a moment that brought smiles all around.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Dorothy’s day so memorable. Here's to another wonderful year ahead! 🥂💖🎂
