We are currently recruiting reputable Care Assistants to work as caregivers with our organisation. Open Doors Healthcare Services team provides a high quality domiciliary care in Kent, Southeast and UK. Supporting people in their own homes, assisting with care needs and helping people to retain their independence.
We are looking for caring and committed individuals to work. We offer flexible working contracted hours, involving: early shifts, late shifts, weekends and split shifts, enhancements are paid on bank holidays and weekends.
We will expect you to be patient and friendly with the clients, and have excellent communication skills.
● Rᴇꜱᴘᴏɴꜱɪʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇꜱ:
●Assist with all activities of daily living
● Help clients take prescribed medications
● Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
● Assist with personal care and hygiene
● Help with physical therapy exercises
● Plan and prepare meals
● Do the client’s shopping or accompany them to do so
● Perform housekeeping duties
● Be pleasant and supportive
● Act quickly and responsibly in the cases of emergency
Jᴏʙ ʀᴇϙᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛꜱ ᴀɴᴅ ϙᴜᴀʟɪғɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ:
● Proven experience as a carer is desirable, training will be provided
● Knowledge of housekeeping activities and good hygiene
● Adhere to health and safety standards
● Be respectful and compassionate
● Excellent time management skills
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong ethics
● Physical endurance
