Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

At Barty House we place great emphasis on rehabilitation and improving mobility. We are able to offer private physiotherapy treatment in your own room. After an initial assessment, a program of therapy will be designed to maximise your potential. You will be charged independently of the Nursing Home, and the fee structure will be discussed with you prior to commencement of treatment. Palliative Care

Residents at Barty House enjoyed stuffing Christmas stockings with lots of tasty treats, including snacks, fruit, drinks and festive chocolates 🎅

There were plenty of smiles and a few goodies enjoyed immediately! 🎁✨

We were delighted to welcome John Boyd from Get Fitness to Barty House for a chair-based exercise session 🌟

With music and props to encourage movement, residents enjoyed a lively and engaging session, with everyone having a great time 🥰

Barty House welcomed the fantastic Scott Elvis back! 🎤✨

A brilliant Elvis impersonator, he had all the ladies swooning, shut your eyes and you’d think the real Elvis was in the room!🎶

We were all a little sad when Elvis finally left the building 💙

On Monday we welcomed the brilliant Rob T for an afternoon of live entertainment 🎤
He delivered fantastic renditions of much-loved songs, which even had a couple of our residents up and dancing 💛

Claire from Kiddley Divey joined us today for a wonderful movement-to-music session! 🎵

Residents used props to make the exercises fun and engaging ✨

We rounded off the session with tea, coffee and some delicious cake ☕🍰

Barty House enjoyed a lovely performance on Monday from the talented Le’arna Castle 🎤

She treated residents to songs from musicals and the 1940s, creating a joyful atmosphere with everyone singing along 💛

Our much-loved flower arranging activities at Barty House 🌸🌿

Residents selected their blooms and arranged them into pots to take back to their rooms. A simple, creative activity that brings so much joy and colour to the home 🌼✨

Barty House had an amazing afternoon with Liam Joseph yesterday 🎤 He never fails to impress, some residents even said he reminded them of Michael Bublé!

We had a brilliant visit from Rivers Rodents 🐢🐍

Residents got to meet a blue-tongued skink, a corn snake, a tortoise and a guinea pig. We received lots of fascinating facts and some of our brave residents even enjoyed touching them! 💚

On the 5th of November, we enjoyed delicious hot dogs with onions and sauce, bringing back fond memories of past Bonfire Nights! 🌭✨

Throwback to Halloween!

We had a frightfully fun time playing Halloween games 👻 Our favourite was two of our lovely residents were wrapped up as mummies and we also played trick or treat! 🎃

We celebrated Halloween a day early with plenty of spooky fun! 🧙‍♀️

Residents enjoyed strawberry bobbing, catching doughnuts on strings, and a Halloween-themed quiz. Lots of laughter and festive spirit all around! 🍩🎃
