It's with sadness to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances for the first time in 18 months - the Linton Walk-In Hub will be closed Tomorrow and will reopen Monday 17th November.

🍁 Feeling under the weather?
For minor seasonal illnesses like:
Coughs and colds
Sinus infections
Sore throats
Skin conditions or flare-ups
Earache or eye infections

You can often get help directly from your local pharmacy.
Under the NHS Pharmacy First scheme, you may not need to see a GP at all — you can even self-refer to a pharmacy for support.

Headcorn Football Club are delighted to welcome Greensand Health Centre as a new club sponsor.

This new system will make it easier for you to order your regular medicines — any time, day or night — using a simple and secure phone line.

You’ll be able to:

🌿 Coming Soon: Automated Telephone Triage Service 🌿

We’re always looking for ways to make accessing our services easier — especially for patients who may not have internet access or find online forms difficult to use.

📞 Soon, you’ll be able to send a medical or admin request over the phone, using our new Automated Telephone Triage Service. This simple phone system will guide you through a few questions (just like our online Anima form) and send your request straight to our team — no computer or smartphone needed.

💚 This will be especially helpful for:
• Patients who can’t easily get online
• Carers or family members helping someone else
• Anyone who prefers to speak rather than type

🕓 The service will be available during our usual practice hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 6.30 pm

⚠️ Please note: this will be for non-urgent queries only.

📢 Just a reminder!

All Greensand Health Centre branches – Linton, Loose, Headcorn – and the Linton Walk-In Clinic will be closed from 1pm this Thursday, 6th November for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

⏰ Normal hours will resume Friday morning.

PLT gives our clinical and admin teams protected time to complete essential training — helping us continue to provide safe, high-quality care.

💡 Don’t forget:

👉You can still cancel appointments or access mental health support using our automated phone system
👉Need medication? You can order repeat prescriptions via the NHS App
👉Feeling unwell with a minor illness? You can self-refer to your local pharmacy through the Pharmacy First service — no GP appointment needed!

📢 Afternoon Closure – Thursday 6th November from 1PM

All Greensand Health Centre branches – Linton, Loose, and Headcorn – along with the Linton Walk-In Clinic, will be closed from 1:00 PM on Thursday 6th November for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

✅ We will reopen as normal the following morning.

We understand this may be inconvenient, but PLT is essential protected time for our clinical and non-clinical teams to complete important training that helps us deliver safe, high-quality care.
