For me drumming, and music in general, has always been about fun. It’s about being a little bit silly so that the performance can be enjoyed by both the performer and the audience. This is even more evident at drum circles!

These spaces are not about being a pro drummer. They are about using rhythm and movement to let yourself slip away from the seriousness of Life. It’s about being present, listening to each other and responding without words.

I love that on my little musical journey through life, I’ve now reached a point where I can facilitate drum circles and invite others (many of whom who have never touched a drum) to join in on the fun that has meant so much to me.

Never tried a drum circle before? Come give it a go!

No experience required, just a willingness to have a bit of fun and bang a drum.

In this ever separating world, we use rhythm to bring strangers together, in a safe space, where the voices of our drums do the talking. We start stiff and over conscious but by then end, we have loosened up and trust each other.

Really powerful way to put yourself outside of your comfort zone, but in a totally non-dangerous, non-embarrassing environment.

I have drums you can use, or also feel free to bring your own πŸ‘πŸΌ
