Imelda’s journey with breast cancer is a powerful testament to resilience, creativity and community. At 48, she discovered a lump and was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, but with the compassionate support of Mr Dani and Macmillan Nurse Lesley at KIMS Hospital, she faced her treatment head on. 💕

Rather than retreat, Imelda channelled her emotions into her life-long passion of fine-art photography. During chemo, she created deeply personal self-portraits, documenting her strength, vulnerability and humour.
