✨ Transformational Tuesday ✨

I had a huge breakthrough today during a group call with the Healthy Habits Club.
One of those moments where something you already know deep down is finally named, compassionately witnessed, and supported.

Shame came up — and with it, the reminder we all need sometimes:
I am enough.

Shame is one of the biggest reasons people don’t even begin their healing journey.
It whispers: “you should be past this by now”, “there’s something wrong with you”, or “what’s the point?”

It becomes a cage — not because we’re broken, but because shame corrodes the part of us that believes change is possible.

In Qigong, we understand that the body holds information.
Shame lives not just in the mind, but in the body — in the held breath, the collapsed chest, the tension we’ve learned to carry.
It becomes part of our internal software, quietly running in the background, keeping us small and stuck.

Embodiment is where things begin to shift.
When we soften the body, slow the breath, and bring gentle awareness to what’s being held, the nervous system receives new information:
safety, choice, possibility.

This is how transformation happens — not by forcing change, but by meeting ourselves with compassion.

If this resonates, know this:
there is nothing wrong with you.
You are enough.
And your body already knows the way back home

If you’re trying to cut out wheat and processed carbs, this has been a game-changer for me.

My body doesn’t tolerate processed food well, and I’ve noticed that when I eat clean it’s easier for me to channel, hold a higher frequency, and feel clearer in my head. It also really helps my ADHD — my energy is steadier and my focus is better.

Eating clean isn’t always easy in the world we live in, but small swaps make a big difference. I’m slowly weaning off grains, and while red lentils technically count, they’re high in protein (and my healthy habits coach wants protein with every meal!).

This flatbread is perfect with winter soups and has just four ingredients:
• red lentils
• cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil (or water)
• baking soda
• salt

You can add herbs if you like, and swap oils to suit your body. I’m personally avoiding processed seed oils. I learned this from a brilliant lady based in Maidstone who shares healthier alternatives and does all the supermarket legwork for us.

I’ll try to share a flatbread video next, and red lentil tofu is also on my list as I’m avoiding soy too.

Transformation Tuesday ✨

This isn’t a 10-year story.
It’s a 20-year one.

Straight out of school, I landed a job in the finance department at Carlton Television.
Good money. Security. A clear path.

I walked away to go back to college and study art.

In 2006, I tried again — working as a temp for the local council.
Lovely people. Steady income.

And again… I walked away.

That path led me through art, creativity, and eventually somewhere I never planned.

In 2018 I created Love Authentic Me.
Not just art — all of me.

Meditation. Energy. Healing. Creativity.
Going live. Launching YouTube. Sharing my voice when only 11 people were listening.

Today there are around 500.
Not huge by internet standards — but a long way from where I began.

Along the way I trained as a meditation teacher, learned EFT & TFT, qualified as a therapeutic art life coach, ran vision board workshops, shared card readings — and eventually stepped into channelling, even though it scared me.

Now I’m at the next edge.

Public speaking.
Another comfort zone.
Another invitation.

Because transformation isn’t a single leap — it’s choosing progress over safety, again and again.
