As we approach the end of February already, did you know this month marks ‘International Boost Your Self-Esteem Month’ 🤔
Low self-esteem can impact our lives in so many ways. We may feel unloved, unimportant and as though nobody wants to be around us.
Lack of self-worth can leave us feeling unhappy, unmotivated and it can affect all levels of our health – mind, body and spirit 😔
So, how can we boost our self-esteem? One way is to be more kind to ourselves – if you listen to the negative mind chatter … would you say this to your worst enemy? Often, we wouldn’t, so why do we talk to ourselves in this way?
Other ways to re-build our self-esteem are to do things which bring you joy – being lost in the moment of doing something you enjoy will nourish your soul 💗 You may choose a hobby where you spend time with likeminded people; or put the music on and dance around your living room to get your energy flowing; or it may be seeking support – from friends, professionals and talking about how you feel.
Self-care may be doing exercise, meditation or just taking time to relax. These can all be done by yourself, or you may also want to reach out to CLUB CHI and/or The Healing Tree 💜
