๐ฃโจ Foot Care Tips for the Darker Months โจ๐
As the days get colder and darker, itโs the perfect time to show your feet a little extra love!
Here are some simple tips:
โ๏ธ 1) Trim Your Toenails Regularly
Keeping your toenails at a healthy length helps prevent ingrown nails and fungal infections.
โข Cut straight across โ avoid rounding the edges or cutting a V-shape.
โข Leave a little length โ corners should gently rest against the skin (around 1โ2 mm of white nail).
โข Use small cuts if nails are thick to avoid splintering.
โข Clean your tools โ wash with soap & water, disinfect with rubbing alcohol, and store them somewhere clean and dry.
โข Trim every 6โ8 weeks (more often if youโre very active).
โข File rough edges to prevent sharp corners irritating the skin.
๐งฝ 2) Keep Your Toes Clean
Regular washing helps prevent athleteโs foot and fungal nails.
Donโt forget to dry thoroughly between your toes! ๐ฆถ๐ง
๐ก Keep these habits consistent and your feet will stay comfortable, healthy, and winter-ready all season long!
