When you phone the GP practice for advice or an appointment, you can expect to be asked a few questions by our admin team. These questions are to help connect you with the most appropriate service or appointment, which isn’t always the GP.

Our admin staff have been trained in signposting and work under the guidance of the GP team when arranging appointments. They also follow strict confidentiality laws so you can feel comfortable that any information shared with them will be kept safe.

The Mallaig & Arisaig Medical Practice would like to notify you that the practice will be closed on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April due to the Easter bank holidays.

The practice will be covered by NHS 24 who can be contacted on 111 if required.

We would like to advise patients to only attend the health centre today if it is absolutely necessary.
We also wish to make all of our patients aware that we do not have the capacity to do home visits due to the extreme winter conditions. Please be careful on all footpaths and only go outside if it is absolutely necessary as the footpaths in the village are treacherous.
