Seen pretty much every hour on the clock in the workshop at some point this year, doing the best I can to keep your cars looking tip top.

Met some pretty cool folk, (and some wierd ones), along the way too.

When a day doesnt go to plan...

This D2 visited us today from Nottinghamshire, for a pit-stop headlining exchange.
After removing the saggy headlining it became very obvious the car leaked like a sieve.

Sunroofs out, gutter issues dealt with, new seals all round, new headlining fitted and back on the road 5 hours later.

Booking slots will be available as usual, on Thursdays and Fridays only, commencing 5th March '26.

Hitting the ground running after a few days away...

Range Rover L405 from Leicestershire in for corroded sunroof drain repairs.

Epsom green Discovery 2 from mid Wales in for the full works plus insulated roof area.

Defunct Diesel heater replacement on a family campervan this evening and tomorrow (easier said than done)

I'll get through all the enquires during the course of the weekend, with the exception of the one guy who messaged saying "its a Monday, you should be at work" when I didn't reply straight away... he can use someone else. 🙄

We had the pleasure of working on this lovely Defender 90 recently, the client, a member of the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team, approached us at YLR Show back in August requesting the cab fully insulated from above, and a colour change to dark slate grey. We think it suits the vehicle perfect!! 👌

We've also been busy working on a transit van for a local lass, the rear section of headlining was missing so we made a new piece, then fabricated a storage unit for all those bits and bobs you need when out and about with the kids.

Hate to say the "C" word on the socials, however, it ain't far away, we've not many dates left for fittings before the big man comes, and we've got a lot to be on with.

Last day for us is 19th December, re-opening 2nd Jan '26.

Its been a bit busy over the last couple of weeks but here's a bit of what I've been up to...

Full lithium and solar install on our ambassadors Discovery 3, all tucked away behind a purpose made electrics panel with custom switch board above, powering the fridge, various charging points, the awning lights and roof tent. We also tided up the cabling in the engine bay, much more user friendly and simplified.

Lovely sub 100k Discovery 2 from near Poole in Dorset, for a dark slate grey headlining, fitting a DAB radio antenna and sorting an annoying sunroof rattle.

Full urban camo wrap on our friends citroen dispatch van, fitting mudflaps, and painting cills.

Time to head home and enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Closing early next Friday as we're heading to dubs in the dales for the weekend. Much needed family time.

Very proud to support this event. 💚🚙💨

Last year we raised £8,590.00 for the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team, this year we set out with a target of trying to reach 10k, and with your help, we not only reached it. . . We absolutely smashed it out the park 🤩🎉

Our heart and soul really goes into our little show, so i'm not ashamed to admit it but I am feeling slightly emotional writing this post, I am absolutely blown away with what WE have all achieved, the show helpers, the traders, autojumble sellers, food / drink sellers, club stands, and you guys, our awesome visitors. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, I am so proud of what we have all achieved.

A staggering £14,120.00 is going to be a massive help to the legends at the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.

Thank you all again. . Now, time for next year's show planning, and we already have some exciting ideas in place, so watch this space for next year's date release 👀

YLR Show 2025..... completed it!

Its been a hot and dusty fantastic weekend at York, lots of awesome people, lots of Land Rovers and plenty of refreshments!

Thankyou to Dean Vipers, Marcus Scales, and Steve Hancock for having your supercool Land Rovers on the MSJ stand, Sally Darley for keeping me fed and watered. Mabel and Stanley for providing the entertainment, but mostly the organisers, Richard Canterbury and the team at RCM 4x4 Limited, for putting on a great weekend.

Let's hope we smashed last year's total for the good folks at Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.
