Good evening to you all, hope you have had a great week, last week found us at Glendale Services at the Kingston Upon Thames depot taking the teams through the level Three Emergency First Aid course, always a pleasure returning here for a catch up.

Then this week a great three days at the Milton Keynes depot taking them through the Level Three Emergency First Aid and Level Three Forestry First Aid course.

Always good to return to depots , to catch up with everyone.

Well done to you all for passing the courses.

Good evening to you all, last Wednesday and Thursday at Bristol at the depot of Gristwood And Toms and Crest Tree Services LTD we took the last team members through the Level Three Emergency First Aid and Level Three Forestry First Aid course.

Once again not only did we see some excellent first aid skills but also team work, problem sorting and leadership skills, these are all vital when dealing with an emergency in the arborist line of work.

We would like to thank Justin from G&T and Sam from Crest and all the lads for a fantastic four days.

Good afternoon to you all from Bristol, an excellent two days here running a joint course for Gristwood And Toms and Crest Tree Services LTD

First time meeting Sam and his team from Crest taking them through the Level Three Emergency First Aid and Level Three Forestry First Aid course.

It was good to meet Austin on the course from the USA and hear how different tree surgery is there .

Everyone did excellent on the course especially this afternoon in the exercises to test their skills.

One of the skills we concentrate on is chainsaw injuries and the use of the following:

Gen 7 CAT Tourniquet
ECB
Celox Granules and Rapid

Congratulations to everyone on passing the course with flying colours, looking forward to returning tomorrow for more training for the next team.

Good afternoon to you all, last week on Monday and Tuesday it was great to return to Gristwood And Toms at the Shenley HQ in Hertfordshire to take not only the arborists but also the apprentices through the Level Three Emergency First Aid and Level Three Forestry First Aid course.

It was excellent to see the lads going through the first aid skills especially the apprentices new to G&T.

As ever the final exercise was the " old hands " going up the tree to practice their skills with the apprentices watching and learning acting as their groundies.

Well done on all successfully passing the course and we wish the apprentices all the best for their future careers at G&T .
