Such an amazing apple harvest this year. You probably know that they are packed full of fibre, pectin and polyphenols - all great to nourish us. And do you also know that each apple has about 100 million bacteria?
So maybe that’s why an apple a day really does keep the doctor away.
Try gently stewing with some warming spices like ginger, cinnamon and cardamom with a few dates, also packed full of good fibre, minerals and goodness. Stir in a spoonful of ghee or coconut oil and this makes a nourishing warming light breakfast. Oh and did I mention delicious too?
Or slice and eat with some nut butter for a quick healthy snack.
