Children are our passion, we provide the best start, learning through play, having lots of fun! Oakenshaw Preschool is situated at St Andrew's Church in Oakenshaw. We provide high quality care and education for children below the statutory school age (2-4 years), following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We have funded places available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, with no extra charges on top - if fees are applicable to you, these are available on request, just call, text or email us! We can also offer wrap around care upon request! We are a well established, small and friendly preschool and can accommodate up to 22 children. We have free flow access to a large outdoor garden, complete with mud kitchen, balance bikes, lots of natural resources and more! We have a team of fully Early Years qualified staff, all staff also hold a paediatric first aid qualification. We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely local preschool! The children came in this morning and we discussed how they were feeling, they had to match their feeling to the correct picture. We then challenged them to look in the mirror and draw their own faces. 👦👦🏼👧🏾👧🏼👧🏻👦🏽

They all really enjoyed this activity, discussing how they were all different and individual making us special and unique in our own ways.

We also have some lovely stamps to use! 💮💟🎄 Not fully dressed up for Christmas yet as we’re not quite ready for Christmas but we couldn’t resist making a start!
