Behind the scenes this week… šŸ‘€āœØ

What a March it’s been. It kicked off speaking at Coleen Rooney’s wellbeing event… and it’s ending with filming for ITV Tonight šŸŽ¬

Think: expert interview (me šŸ˜„), kitchen moments, and a private consultation with a lovely case study – all centred around one of the biggest things I see in clinic… tiredness.

ā€œSay yes and worry laterā€ has definitely been my energy recently – and this one felt like a full-body yes. (Even if I only had about 24 hours to process it before the producer arrived at my kitchen door šŸ˜…)

No idea how much will make the final cut or how long I’ll be on screen… but that’s all part of the fun.

If you’re curious, tune in:

Let’s see what makes the cut… šŸ‘€

I’ve been a little quiet on here the past few weeks…

I’ve taken a step back to give myself a bit of space. I wasn’t feeling quite myself, and I’ve learnt over time that when I feel like that, it’s better for me to soften the noise rather than push through it here.

So the past few weeks have been more intentional. Slowing things down, tuning back in, and focusing on the things that help me feel steady again – connection, reflection, and small pockets of time just for me in between clients and a bit of geeky nutrition work.

Here’s a little snapshot of what that’s looked like:

• Beach walk in Lytham St Anne’s with the big and little T
• Admiring all the daffodils (although tulips still have my heart) 🌷
• A 10km PB – keeping up with marathon training
• Coffee & cake with little T on Mother’s Day
• Finally finishing my paint-by-numbers ā€˜angry bird’
• Genetics testing interpretation for a client (my kind of geek)
• Lunch & a catch-up with the lovely
• A magical breathwork & sound bath session with & supporting Breast Cancer Now
• Friday PT sessions in the woods – love being outside with these girls
• My own little Spring Equinox cleanse weekend of juices, smoothies & soups

I’m coming out the other side feeling more rested, more grounded, and ready to step into Spring with a bit more energy and positivity 🌿✨

Three women came to see me with very similar symptoms.

Exhaustion.
Stress.
Hormone fluctuation symptoms like brain fog, anxiety, poor sleep, hot flushes

All had been told by the GP their blood tests were ā€˜normal’.

But they didn’t feel normal.

And here’s the important part – their solutions were completely different.

Claire’s* blood markers were technically in-range but still very low. With the right diet and supplements, her energy came back and she feels like herself again.

We discovered Lizzie* had antibodies attacking her thyroid gland – something that isn’t routinely tested for. With the right nutrition and targeted support, her energy is returning and her hot flushes and anxiety have disappeared.

Lydia* was under-fuelling and stuck in years of diet culture. Through coaching and nourishing habits, she rebuilt her energy, confidence and relationship with food and herself.

Same starting symptoms.
Very different root causes.

This is why one-size-fits-all advice rarely works when it comes to women’s health.

Your body, lifestyle, history and hormones are unique – your support should be too.

If you’re feeling exhausted or just not yourself, don’t keep guessing.

Women have come a long way, but in healthcare there is still a way to go…

Keep speaking out.
Keep standing up for yourself.
Don’t stop until you are listened to.

Your health is your biggest wealth so keep fighting for it! 🩷

So... I had to cancel my retreat day.

It sold out last year.
This time, the timing just wasn’t right.

And while that’s disappointing, it also created space for something more accessible.

Because Cleanse & Reset already exists as a 3-day guided experience you can do at home.

No travel.
No childcare logistics.
No full-day commitment.

Inside, you’ll find:
• A structured Friday–Sunday plan
• Flexible smoothie, juice & soup recipes you can adapt
• The science behind cleansing & why women need a different approach to fasting
• Practical ways to reduce environmental toxins and better support your hormones

Everything is designed specifically for women – to help you feel lighter, clearer and more focused.

Perfect for spring and fresh beginnings…

It’s Ā£45 (link in bio).
Or Ā£35 if you’re on my newsletter or sign-up to it (link in bio).

About Wednesday… āļø

I had the absolute pleasure of being asked to speak at a wellness brunch held by and

The event marked the launch of a new gut health supplement to add to Coleen’s existing range.

The spring sun shone ā˜€ļø
The venue idyllic šŸ’«
The pilates perfect
The food right up my street šŸ˜‰
The women I met so positive and real

The nerves hopefully didn’t show!

Such an amazing experience šŸ™šŸ»

šŸ’š A cancer diagnosis can turn life upside down. Appointments, information and decisions can feel relentless, and often your own wellbeing gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

Nutritional therapy doesn’t replace medical treatment. But it works alongside it – helping you feel steadier, more supported and more informed during what can be an incredibly demanding time.

When so much feels out of your control, knowing how to nourish and support your body can make a meaningful difference. We focus on:

• Supporting your resilience through treatment
• Minimising side effects where possible
• Protecting long-term health
• Helping you feel more like yourself again

And perhaps most importantly – ensuring you feel supported and not alone.

Pam’s words in this post capture exactly why this work matters so deeply to me.

If you’re navigating breast cancer (or any type of cancer) – whether newly diagnosed, mid-treatment, recovering or living with the disease – and would value thoughtful, personalised support alongside your medical care, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

I’m here when you’re ready.šŸ’«

Not all self care involves long walks or candles šŸ’«

For me it also comes in the form of...

šŸŒ¶ļø Delicious meals out & date-lunches
šŸø The odd gin cocktail (or 3!)
šŸ˜‚ Laugher & catching up with old friends
🪩 Dancing until the small hours and your feet throb
šŸŽ§ Grinning until you have face ache reminiscing over great tunes
šŸ™ŒšŸ» Waving your arms in the air like you just don’t care

Filling your cup doesn’t always have to mean being on your best behaviour.

No apologies. No caring what anyone else thinks.
It’s doing what you love, with who you love ā¤ļø
..because time is precious.

And I know I’ll be having a green juice on morning after :) šŸ„¦šŸ„‘šŸ

As a teenager, heavy periods and hideous cramps were just ā€˜normal’ for me.

Missed school days. Sitting on a towel to avoid flooding. Skipping sport and social plans every month.

I was put on the contraceptive pill – like so many of us were. It stopped the bleeding, but it didn’t address the root cause.

Years later, I dealt with endometriosis and fertility struggles, and often wonder how different things could have been if someone had supported my health earlier instead of just suppressing symptoms.

Now I’m seeing it everywhere:
• Clients with teenage daughters
• Teenage clients themselves
• My own daughter’s friends
• Women watching their daughters struggle and feeling helpless. Often struggling themselves with similar perimenopause issues that can, in some, mirror the pattern

So this comes from passion – and responsibility.
From using this space to help other mums support their girls’ health early, gently, and safely – even through the eye-rolls, the ā€œwhateversā€, and the frustrated teenage resistance šŸ˜…

I feel your pain.

This is about giving our girls tools for their future health – even if they pretend not to listen right now.
