42 years young! Time flies.

The other picture was taken on my 30th and looking back now I was so unwell!

Battling thyroid/multiple autoimmune conditions and CFS has been a real rollercoaster but it builds true resilience and strength.

Always look at how far you've come and not at how far you have to go!

Sharing my birthday with my niece who turns 7 so double celebrations 🥳🎉

Not a perfect year but a year of real progress.

Ups and downs but a year of appreciating good people and great memories.

Small steps can go a really long way and you will get to where you want to be. Focus on your own journey and follow your own path.

I spoke with both the Men into Leadership (Momentum) and Women into Leadership students who are part of the B6 Student Leadership Programme at The Sixth Form Bolton.

We discussed all things health, wellbeing, nutrition and fitness. We also delved into the world of social media, the importance of following your own path and how a healthy mindset can build resilience.

Two fantastic groups, great engagement and I'm looking forward to future projects and podcasts.

Really excited to be a part of this and engaging with the students again following on from past talks.

We'll be discussing all things health, nutrition, wellbeing, self-care and balance.

International Men's Day is on the 19th November with lots of events held across the UK, all promoting wellness and a healthy mindset.

Great group, real connections and the right environment!

First time I've attended a networking event with Stay Well Collective Manchester (Itsmental) and I came out feeling inspired.

Positive mental and physical action ✅️

Breaking the taboo about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace ✅️

Staying true to yourself and following your own path, passion and purpose ✅️

I will be delivering Connect 5 courses as part of the Community Trainer work I do and this also focuses on both mental health and wellbeing.

Trusting the journey and embracing more opportunities.

Health is the real wealth ❤️

Such a simple meal! Ten minutes if that 👍🏻

Boneless yellowfin tuna steaks, free-range eggs (courtesy of my nephew's hens), sweet potato and mangetout 😋

Followed up with Brazil nuts, dark chocolate (70%), hempseed and pomegranates 💪🏻

Food is fuel and both those meals will flood the body with nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.

I do try to practise what I preach and I'm extremely passionate about nutrition. I had a severe allergy to fish in recent years and now I'm enjoying mackerel, tuna, prawns and salmon!

Healing the body can take time and gut health is so important too.

HEAL THY SELF = HEALTHY SELF

Qualification completed 💪🏻

It has been a journey leaving behind a legal career and a degree in a completely different field.

I've battled health issues and it gives you resilience in abundance. I've been a member of my local gym for nearly twenty years and this has given me discipline and focus.

Always look at how far you've come and not at how far you still have to go. I'm now in a position where I have my own business, am part of a fantastic Community Practitioner team and have delivered nutrition/health talks to different organisations. I am embracing more opportunities and enjoying facing bigger challenges each day.

You can either let something define you or you can learn from it and it will build strength of character.

I've been struggling with tendonitis and constant pain in my pectoral area so I booked in with Claire who owns The Rehab Hut.

She's a fantastic Osteopath and runs an injury and rehabilitation clinic in Leigh.

If you're struggling with any injuries or pain, then definitely check out her page. Super professional, genuine and her knowledge is second to none! Highly recommend 💪🏻
