Not gonna lie… today has been one of those days 💛

Market day, lots of chats, lots of sales, and very tired feet tonight… 👣

But spending time chatting with customers That’s the bit I love 🐝💛🐝

Running a small business isn’t always easy but days like today remind me why I keep showing up.

Packing up for tomorrow’s market and trying not to forget anything…

So far I’ve got the stock, the tablecloth, card reader and snacks are obviously top priority 🤣🤣

But I always seem to forget something.

Well… I couldn't help myself. I have the weekend off next weekend so I have decided to jump on a mid week market instead 💛

So you will find me at Bury Market pop-up stalls down the side wall, opposite the Big Men’s Clothing store

Quick impromptu Sunday evening stroll along the canal… just me, fresh air, and that perfect spring evening 🌿

Did a mile and a half in 31:15 — was aiming for under 30 minutes , but honestly… I’ll take it.

Felt good to get out and clear my head and enjoy the quiet 💛

Thank you so much to everyone who came over, had a chat, supported my little business, or even just smiled as you passed by it honestly means everything.

Tomorrow looks a little different. Lottie is already very excited for a cosy crafty afternoon painting with her Nannie 🎨

These little beauties have quietly become my BEST SELLER at Keep It Local… so a restock is incoming....

These bee-utiful bee themed pens also write beautifully (which, let’s be honest, is the whole point of a pen 😉) so I had to keep one for myself.

📚 Last night was book club night 📚

Once a month, 8 of us meet at our local Beefeater and enjoy discussing our latest book before a proper catch up on life.

Last month’s book (The List of Suspicious Things) got a 7/10 from us… a good read.

Now we’re onto:

You Are Here by David Nicholls
Two strangers, both a bit lost, who end up walking across the countryside together and finding more than they expected.

For me it’s not just about the book. It’s that one night a month just for me and a group of friends 💛

Started bright, then the rain and wind hit… but it’s lifting again now and we’re still here!
