HGV means Hypersonic Glide Vehicle, which moves extremely fast.
These weapons can be hard for air defenses to stop.

Ali Larijani said on Saturday that Iran had captured several U.S. soldiers during the fighting that started last week. He posted on X that the United States was trying to hide this. According to him, the U.S. claims the soldiers were killed in battle, but he says they were actually taken prisoner and the truth will eventually come out.

The U.S. military strongly denied this claim. Tim Hawkins said Iran is spreading false information and trying to mislead people. A spokesperson from United States Central Command also rejected Iran’s statement, calling it another example of lies.
