🎇✨ WELL-BEING WEDNESDAY ✨🎇

Our wonderful care team came together this Well-Being Wednesday to celebrate Bonfire Night with a spread of warm, traditional treats. Everyone enjoyed hot chocolate, sticky treacle toffee, baked parkin, cinder toffee, and of course, the classic Lancashire Black-Eyed Peas 🫛

It was the perfect chance for staff to unwind, share stories, and take a well-deserved break from their busy routines. Laughter filled the room as childhood memories of bonfire nights were shared, reminding us all just how special moments of togetherness can be.

These simple, joyful times highlight the importance of teamwork, friendship, and community here at Egerton Manor. 💛

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new home, Upland Manor Care Home!

Our team has worked tirelessly to create a bespoke, purpose-built luxury care home, perfectly situated in the heart of Northern Moor.

Recently, some of our lovely residents from Ashlands Manor Care Centre — Gwen, Ann, and Joyce — had the opportunity to visit and gave Upland Manor Care Home their seal of approval:

“It’s absolutely gorgeous — there’s nothing I don’t like about it. I’d move in tomorrow if it weren’t for the fact I love my home and life at Ashland Manor!”

Growing up as one of six children shaped Margaret’s childhood through the challenges of wartime and rationing, with family always at the heart of it. Later in life, she discovered that one of her sisters wasn’t her biological sibling... A revelation that only deepened her understanding of family and the bonds that truly matter. ✨

This week, our lovely residents enjoyed a peaceful autumn stroll around the beautiful grounds of Egerton Manor. 🍃

With the fresh woodland air, the soft scent of morning dew, and the gentle trickle of the stream nearby, it was a truly serene experience.

There’s nothing quite like good conversation, warm tea, and a bit of knitting to bring people together — and our Knit & Natter sessions are proving to be one of the most loved activities here at Egerton Manor Care Centre in Bolton!

With soft music playing in the background and laughter filling the room, our residents enjoy relaxing afternoons sharing stories, catching up, and occasionally dropping a stitch or two! 🧵💬

🌿☀️ A Lovely Day for a Garden Stroll ☀️🌿

Today, our residents at Egerton Manor took full advantage of the beautiful weather with a relaxing walk around our garden 🌼🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

The fresh air, sunshine, and peaceful surroundings created the perfect atmosphere for some gentle exercise and meaningful moments. Our residents enjoyed stretching their legs, admiring the flowers in bloom, and soaking up the calming sights and sounds of nature 🌺🌳

Smiles, laughter, and lovely conversations made it a truly uplifting experience — a simple pleasure that brought a lot of joy 💛
