Not all period pain is endometriosis or an underlying condition.

I've received a few inquiries about post-Christmas detox, and here's what I think is important to share.

Winter, especially around the solstice , is when your digestive fire (Agni) is naturally strongest. The cold outside preserves warmth within, making your body ready to digest, nourish, and build strength.

Classical Ayurveda does not recommend aggressive cleansing during winter. Why? Because detox (langhana) in cold seasons can weaken digestion, imbalance Vata, and reduce overall vitality.

Instead, winter is for Brimhana,
nourishment and strengthening, not depletion: ✨ Warm, cooked foods ✨ Healthy fats ✨ Gentle spices ✨ Oil massage and daily routines ✨ Rest and protection from cold

That’s what has traditionally been done during Christmas. This is a time to enjoy healthy, nourishing Christmas food, guilt free, because that’s what festivals are for. Keep most of it homemade, mindful, and portion-controlled.

Seasonal living isn’t a trend, it’s how Ayurveda has aligned with nature for thousands of years.
