Yes exercise can help with your mental health, so if you can get out there and move your body. However we recognise it’s not always that easy.... so we recommend following these tips for
Improving your mental health from :

* only try what feels comfortable
* give yourself time to figure out what works for you, going at your own pace
* take small steps. Pick one or two things that feel achievable at first, before moving on to try other ideas.

It’s getting darker earlier, it’s all a bit wet and soggy outside and the autumn leaves are changing and falling, making the floor really sloppy!

The question is... are you still getting out for a run?

We can get out there in all weathers, we just need to be a bit more prepared! 🧤 🔦 👟

Make sure your trainers are up for the the job, you’ve got layers to wear when you need them and don’t forget a head torch and some reflective clothing.

There are so may benefits to this sport. ⠀

Whether you’ve got ‘all the gear’ or a tired ole bike that you share with others. Maybe you Cycle as your main form of transport or you go out for fun.⠀

“Running gives freedom”

Yes to this 🙌🏻

I bet there is so many outdoor sports where you get the same feeling.

Being outdoors, in the fresh air, choosing your own path, increasing your heart rate and therefore stimulating the production of endorphins, is so invigorating.

Maybe it’s running, cycling, swimming, skiing or kayaking.

Nothing beats that feeling of freedom.
