Itchy Feet is not only a saying but also a common foot problem. The good news is that the condition is usually readily treatable. Symptoms include intense itching around the toes or arch of the foot. The itching is typically worse when the feet are warm. There are treatments available for this and they are are simple as skin care, using a cream to help skin stay hydrated and soft and something like Daktarin an antifungal treatment to treat the itch.

Wear shoes. The idea of frolicking barefoot in the sand or poolside might sound great, but the reality can be hazardous. 🚫❌ (Especially so for people with diabetes.) Bare feet are vulnerable to sunburn and injuries from broken glass and metal objects, as well as conditions like plantar warts, athlete’s foot, and ringworm. Wear shoes poolside and in the locker room to help prevent foot problems and wearing flip-flops is fine as long as they have semi-rigid arch support. 🩴
