The National Cancer Plan acknowledges what Black communities have long known: cancer inequalities aren't just about postcode, they're about who you are.

CAHN welcomes this transformational plan launched by Rt Hon Wes Streeting, commending its recognition of poor access, experiences and outcomes for ethnic minority groups.

Our call to Government is clear:
• Embed racial health equity throughout the National Cancer Plan
• Champion lived experience informing clinical design
• Address the intersectionality of geographies and race

We're spotlighting critical commitments: From culturally appropriate screening campaigns and prostate cancer screening implementation to community co-design at every stage, equal health literacy across demographics, and addressing ethnic minority exclusion from clinical trials.
