What to expect at a GridFit class
Here’s how it works. The whole set-up blends cardio, strength and conditioning so you build real, usable fitness.
Station 1 - Aqua Bags
Punch a water-filled bag for joint-friendly resistance. Gloves provided for wrist and knuckle support.
Station 2 - Barbell Work
Exercise varies by coach. Our bars adjust from 2.5kg to 24kg so you can choose a weight that lets you move well and keep proper form.
Station 3 - Battle Ropes
Power, stamina, rhythm - you control the intensity, push when you can.
Station 4 - Kettlebells
Movement changes session to session. Strength and conditioning in one hit.
Station 5 - Skipping Ropes
Skip if you can, and if not, we’ll give you an alternative. Progression is the aim.
Station 6 - Kettlebells
A second kettlebell point to balance the circuit. Exercise chosen by the coach.
Station 7 - Skipping Ropes
Another cardio point to keep the heart rate up. Alternatives available.
Station 8 - Core
Your core exercise varies each class and can be adapted to your ability.
Station 9 - Dumbbells
Adjustable weights with coached movements so you can challenge yourself safely.
The Track.
Used for warm ups, warm downs and a lap between each
The Outer Track - it’s your safe entry and exit point during a live Grid session.
Meaning:
* You can step off early if you’ve done enough.
* You can step back in when you’re ready.
* If you’re late, you don’t miss the session. Warm up on the square and enter the outer green and take an available space at a station.
Each round lasts 12 minutes so even arriving 20 minutes late still gives you two strong rounds. No more missing out because life gets in the way. Each slot runs a total of 4 rounds with a water break after each round.
