St Patrick’s night Celebration. ☘️☘️

We are excited to have Pat Jordan and Finian’s Rainbow to entertain us on Friday March 20th in celebration of St Patrick’s Day.
Fish, Chips and Peas, Dessert or Veggie Option available, also bar and raffle. £15.

Our Lady of Lourdes, loving Mother, we come before you with humble and contrite hearts, seeking your powerful intercession.
Blessed Mother touch us with your gentle hands and grant us the grace to accept God’s will with humility and peace.

Our Christmas festivities came to end on Tuesday, the feast of the Epiphany. Our residents sang carols in front of all our cribs, before they were taken down and stored away until next Christmas.

Afterwards they had a jolly old sing song.

Today we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family.

We pray our Heavenly Father will bless all families with His love and protect them from all harm. Give them grace to forgive, strength to overcome the difficulties they face and keep them together when the world tries to pull them apart.

Happy 90th birthday Bridie.🎂🎂⚘️🌼🌸

Yesterday, Bridie in the company of her St Joseph's family celebrated her 90th birthday.
It was a lovely afternoon, with Hannah Donnelly keeping everyone well entertained and a big surprise when Rik, our senior carer played the guitar and sang for us. Thank you Hannah and Rik.

Bridie really enjoyed her afternoon and we pray the Lord will bless and protect you and His love and goodness will follow you all the days of your life. 🙏🙏

Today we light the candle of Love on our Advent wreath.

We cannot be Christians without Christ and without love, otherwise, our works and our purpose on earth are for nothing.
We need His love to share the Good News of salvation throughout the world.

On Christmas Day we will light the Jesus candle, it is because of Him, we can be a light to others, showing them the true meaning of Christmas. 🙏🙏
