Physio tips:
✔️ Being very mindful to connect through the abdominals throughout the movement. Ensuring not to ‘dump’ in the lower back.
✔️ Keep shoulder blades squeezing down the back, reducing ‘hitching’ the shoulders
✔️ 1 x 🔴 spring
✔️ Testing ability to stabilise with single arm lifts
✔️ Advanced work on the Reformer - I have used with dancers who are working strength through large, available ranges of spinal movement.

Feet in straps from the syllabus level 1 & 3.

Physio tips
✔️ Indicated for core strengthening, hamstring & adductor dynamic stretching, hip mobility and stability, lumbo pelvic stability. Yes a long list!!
✔️ Bend and stretch, lift and lowers, leg circles and stag.
✔️1 x 🔴 & 1 x 🟡 spring helps to facilitate deep abdominal connection.
✔️ The first sequence bend and stretch is great for beginners who are needing extra prompts for activation of the deep abdominals when guided.

Physio tip:

✔️ Single leg control - quadriceps, hamstrings, glute medius and max especially.
✔️ Balance & proprioception - great for late stage ankle rehab
✔️ Single leg standing sequences compliment running specific strengthening
✔️1 x blue spring progression here is goes to the edge of the carriage rather than against the should block
✔️ I use a standing platform extender to help improve foot placement and reduce over activity through the intrinsic foot muscles.
