2022/2023 COMMITTEE APPLICATION

Applications to join the Manchester Academic Surgery Society are now open! We are a new society looking for passionate and pro-active new members to help with our aim of raising awareness about careers available in academic surgery.

Positions available are:
- Phase 1 rep
- Phase 2 rep
- Graphic / social media lead
- Academic lecture lead

Hi everyone!

We are a new society that has just been set up this year. As the name suggests, we are aiming to help raise awareness about careers and insights into academic surgery!

This year, we are planning on hosting multiple online events related to;
- How to get into SFP?
- What can you do in Medical School to start working towards a career in surgery?
- What does a day in the life of an academic surgeon look like?
- We will also be delivering online teaching on the various surgical specialties for the progress tests.
