A 25-year-old man noticed something wasn’t right. His poo had turned dark, sometimes even bloody. He felt full after just a few bites of food, was constantly tired, and had a nagging discomfort in his tummy. Instead of ignoring it, he listened to his body — and that decision changed everything.

His doctor took him seriously, ordered the right tests, and referred him urgently. A colonoscopy found a polyp and abnormal cells, and early-stage cancer was diagnosed. Thankfully, because it was caught early, all of it was removed.

He is now doing well. His story is a powerful reminder that cancer doesn’t care about age, and symptoms should never be dismissed — especially in younger adults.

If you or someone you love is experiencing:
✨ Dark or bloody stools
✨ Changes in bowel habits
✨ Feeling full quickly
✨ Ongoing tiredness
✨ Unexplained weight loss
✨ Persistent tummy discomfort

Please speak to your doctor. Early detection truly saves lives. ❤️
You might help someone more than you know by sharing this.

These symptoms may seem harmless… but when they’re persistent, they may be signs of something more. 💙
💠 Bloating that never goes away
💠 Nausea or indigestion
💠 Abdominal or pelvic pain
💠 Back pain
💠 Feeling full quickly / loss of appetite
💠 Urinary urgency or frequency
💠 Changes in bowel habits
💠 Fatigue
💠 Unexplained weight loss
💠 Menstrual changes
💠 Pain during in*******se
These symptoms do not necessarily mean ovarian cancer; they are common in many non-cancerous conditions.
• The concerning pattern is frequency, persistence, and worsening—for example, symptoms occurring more than 12 times a month.
• Ovarian cancer can occur at a young age, although it is less common.

If you or someone else is experiencing ongoing symptoms, it’s a good idea to discuss them with a healthcare provider for appropriate evaluation.

Your body whispers before it screams.
If you’ve been battling persistent headaches, blurry vision, sudden tingling, weakness, or unexplained nausea—please don’t ignore it.
These symptoms don’t always mean a brain tumor, but they always deserve attention.

Many women have heavy periods and don’t realise it’s not normal.

Pain that doesn’t respond to your usual painkillers or passing big clots (around a 50p coin) can be signs of heavy bleeding — and this often leads to iron deficiency.

Common signs of low iron:

Tired all the time, dizziness, headaches, chest discomfort, hair loss, restless legs, low mood, or feeling forgetful.

If this sounds like you, it’s worth booking a check-up. You deserve to feel well. ❤️
