Due to increased demand for blue light (CERAD) driving courses, we are expanding our instructional team in Manchester.

🔵 *The Role*
We are seeking experienced Freelance CERAD Driving Instructors to deliver the Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD).

You will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical blue light driver training, supporting learners to safely operate under emergency response conditions in line with national standards.

🔵 *Key Responsibilities*
• Deliver high-quality CERAD training (theory & practical)
Instruct and assess learners in emergency response driving
Provide coaching aligned with Roadcraft principles and high-speed driver training competencies
• Conduct on-road assessments and provide structured feedback
• Maintain training documentation and compliance with awarding body standards
• Ensure safe use of vehicles and training environments

🔵 *Essential Requirements*
• Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD) (or legacy equivalent)
• Level 4 Diploma in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving Instruction (or equivalent instructor qualification)
• Teaching/assessing qualification (e.g. Level 3 CAVA and Level 4 Education & Training)
• Full UK driving licence (C1 preferred) with minimal penalty points
• Experience delivering blue light / emergency response driver training
• Strong understanding of Road Traffic legislation and exemptions

*Freelance Instructors Wanted*

We’re expanding our team of freelance instructors at our Manchester training centre and are looking for experienced trainers to deliver our FREC, PHTLS, and OSM programs.

What we’re looking for:
• Qualified trainers with CAVA or equivalent (full teaching and assessing flexibility)
• Commitment to a minimum of 8 teaching days per year
• Ability to deliver high-quality training across multiple courses
