International Women's Day

'International Women's Day (March 8 ) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.'

We would like to celebrate the fantastic female learners and staff members that are part of Oldham Lifelong Learning. Their incredible achievements and stories are truly inspirational.

This year's theme is “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to present this amazing 8 stone award to the truly inspirational Shouvon in our Thursday openshaw group last week. Shouvon is just an absolute pleasure to listen to when she talks about her journey so far and the amazing life changing effect her fantastic weight loss has had on her everyday life. Simply an amazing lady who inspires us all. 👊👊
