This was a really fascinating look into Hypnosis and what it can achieve. And thank goodness, it didn't go down the usual, lazy route of spinning discs and clucking chickens. Well worth a watch and a share with anyone who's sceptical about hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a legitimate form of therapy!

Hello my Hypnofriends!

I hope you're all doing great!!

I'm currently in the process of building a weight-loss package! Could I ask for your help??

If you or someone you know wanted to lose weight...What things would you like to get from a weight loss package? Especially as it's a package from a hypnotherapist and personal trainer?

1. What would you like to learn from the process?

2. What things would you like the hypnotherapy to help you with?

3. How long (how many sessions) would you want to have it over? Short and sharp, or slow and steady?

4. What balance between hypnosis and practical advice would you like?

Any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I want to build something that will be different to anything out there! A weight loss package that teaches you EVERYTHING you'll ever need to know to get in the shape you want...and to keep yourself in shape for life!

So, you won't need to rely on anyone or anything else to dictate how or what you eat, or subject you to public weigh-ins!!

Thanks in advance for any ideas. I really want to make this great!!

5km per day for a month - Day 31!

I DID IT!!! 😊 Or I should say, WE DID IT, because my little Bro and my friend John Greenham kept me company, my girlfriend .danceandart kept me sane and all of you wonderful people who've commented, liked my photos and sent me public or private words of encouragement have lifted my spirits and kept me accountable. You all rock!! Much love to you all!! ❀

This challenge was never about personal bests, run times or weight loss...It was about making a commitment to myself and keeping it, no matter how hard it got at times. I've relearned a mental toughness I used to take for granted and got much fitter along the way.

And, so...My little legs are having a week off and then onto the next challenge! 😊

If you have any questions about this challenge, or any suggestions about what I could do next, fire them at me in the comments!

5km per day for a month - Day 30

A rather frustrating run today, having been jumped all over by someone's alsation that was off its lead on a public footpath, then told by it's owner I was in the wrong for not stopping my run to wait for her dog, even though it came bounding round a blind corner!!

Aside from that, I made up the lost time as best I could and had a good gym session after.

I was sore this morning after pushing myself yesterday and I put my run off as long as I could 🀣 But I still did it!

Sometimes, you've just got to have a stern word with yourself, quickly throw your shoes on and run out the door. Then the hardest bit is done!

5km per day for a month - Day 28

New PR!! 😊 Well... That was unexpected! After feeling really off-colour yesterday and as if I was coming down with a cold or something, I woke up feeling lots better today. So I thought I'd see what I had in me today and this was my fastest run so far on my challenge!

My lungs were burning the whole time and I had 1km where I entertained the notion of slowing it down but overall, I felt good. I also realised "Sad but True" by Metallica, is the perfect tempo for a 5:15km for me 😁🀘 I'll just have to work on keeping a 5:15km the whole time!

Just a note for anyone still reading...Comparison is the thief of joy!! The time I got today would be considered an absolute crawl for some, and lightspeed for others! Don't compare yourself to other people, just keep working on being a better version of YOU!

Anyway, just 3 more runs to go, then my shins and calves are having a week's rest πŸ˜†

I look and feel exhausted today! Good session at the gym though and then my run back-to-back again. I've learned that no matter how tired I am, I still have a 5km in me!!

I'm going to focus on getting a couple of really good night's sleep this weekend!

As much as I've enjoyed this challenge so far, I'm very much ready for a week-long break from running at the least!

Just 5 more runs to go!! 😁

5km per day for a month- Day 25

Today I got my run done first thing. I was joined today by my mate John. He hasn't done much running lately, so we kept the pace steady and ran through woods, up steps and round the park.

Very pleasant and great to catch up and put the world to rights! 😊

It feels so different running with a partner. Talking keeps you from pushing too hard when you shouldn't. Today was "conversational pace" (apart from up the steps!)

You can use the "talk test" determine if your pace is conversational pace, or not. If you can only get a few words out at a time, ease up. If you wanna push hard... Stop talking! 🀐 Simples!
