Pamela, aged 78, passed peacefully at Middleton Hall Care Home.

Pamela’s loved ones would like to invite those who knew Pamela to attend her celebration of life service, which will take place Tuesday 28th April, 1pm at Middleton Crematorium.

After the service, attendees are welcome to The Gardeners Arms (Hollin Lane, Middleton) for refreshments and share to memories of Pamela.

Family flowers only please. All are welcome to donate to The Alzheimers Society in memory of Pamela. A collection box will be present at the service.

For those not able to attend, a livestream will be available for Pamela’s service.

That’s a wrap for our 2026 Easter egg collection 🪺
The community really banded together this year, giving is one of our highest yields yet. We’ve been busy and already dished them out to our various schools.

We’re often asked why a funeral business does things like this. But this isn’t about us, it’s about doing whatever we can to help out our local community. The time spent is well worth the smiles it brings.

If you’ve donated, thank you. Your generosity has helped our community this Easter. We’re immensely grateful for that. Thank you to all who participated and allowed us to donate l, we’re grateful for your hard work.

Sandra, aged 61, passed peacefully at Heywood Court Care Home.

The Smith family invite those who knew Sandra to attend her celebration of life service, which will take place Friday 10th April, 11:00am at Boarshaw Crematorium.

After, attendees are welcome to join for refreshments at The Lancashire Fold, to share memories of Sandra.

Floral tributes welcome. Alternatively those attending can donate towards The Alzheimer’s Society. A collection box will be present at the service.

On the weekend, we had the privilege of attending a deeply meaningful street naming ceremony within our local community, where new street and park names were dedicated in honour of our local fallen soldiers.

It was a humbling experience to stand alongside members of the community and pay tribute to those whose lives will never be forgotten. Moments like these remind us of the importance of remembrance, respect, and unity.

It is an honour to be part of a community that comes together to recognise and preserve the legacy of those who sacrificed and gave so much for their loved ones.

Our Easter egg collection has been a huge success this year. There is still some time to drop off donations, but we will be closing the collection soon.

If you wish to donate please do so by Tuesday 24th March. We will be dishing them out next week in time for Easter.
