Sound Talk is an Independent Speech and Language Therapy service established in 2014 by Rachael Tuckley, Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. www.soundtalksalt.co.uk

We are passionate about helping children to communicate. We know the impact that timely and effective Speech and Language Therapy has on a child’s life. We work with primary schools and early years settings in south Manchester and Stockport. Sound Talk offers specialist assessment and therapy for children with a range of speech, language and communication needs, such as difficulties with:
•language (difficulty understanding and using words)
•attention and listening
•speech sounds (difficulty saying specific sounds or sounds getting mixed up)
•social communication difficulties or Autistic Spectrum Condition

Rachael is particularly passionate about working with bilingual and multilingual children with speech, language and communication needs. Rachael is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council, the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice. She obtained a 1st Class Degree in Clinical Language Sciences (Speech and Language Therapy) in 2005 and has 16 years of experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the UK and overseas.
