Sunday has been all about worship, rest, and making the most of another glorious day ☀️

This morning we tried somewhere new Gordon kindly invited us along to his church, The King’s Church, and we were genuinely amazed. Such a warm, welcoming place, and we’ll most definitely be back. Olwyn joined us too and absolutely loved it, which made it even more special 💛

The afternoon was spent just how Sundays should be, good conversations flowing out in the garden, paired with a cheeky, refreshing tipple 🍹 After plenty of hard work, we’re so pleased to say all our donated plants and flowers are now in and thriving 🌸🌿

Lynn picked some beautiful flowers which are now proudly displayed on the bar, and she’s also taken on the very important role of keeping a close eye on Gordon’s strawberry plants 🍓👀

A truly fulfilling way to round off the week 🙏

What a beautifully busy day we’ve had! 🌿☀️

It’s been non-stop out in the garden weeding, digging, and planting, making the most of the sunshine. We even picked fresh mint straight from the garden and enjoyed it with fruit in a delicious, refreshing drink to keep everyone cool and hydrated. 🍓🌱

By the afternoon, we moved under the blossom tree for some shade, where the gentle breeze and warm weather led to a few well earned naps 😴🌸

And to top it all off, Margaret is heading out on the town tonight! After a little hair and makeup session, she’s looking absolutely gorgeous and ready for her evening out 💄✨

A perfect mix of fresh air, relaxation, and a touch of glamour 💚

What a beautiful day we’ve had ☀️

This morning we took a couple of our lovely ladies Joan and Val for a walk over to Wharton & Cleggs Lane Supportive Spaces CIC, where we joined in with their pebble painting challenge to celebrate 100 years of Salford 🎨

It was such a relaxing and welcoming environment, with truly friendly staff. After getting creative and painting 17 pebbles (which will be hidden around Cutacre country park for walkers to find 👀), we enjoyed a well earned brew, biscuits, and a little bit of cake 🍰

The afternoon was just as lovely… spent in the garden enjoying each other’s company 🌿 After yesterday’s activities, everyone fancied a more relaxed pace, so we chatted, laughed, and soaked up some sunshine.

We heard wonderful stories from Jean about life in America, and Lynn shared memories of living in Spain. It was especially nice to see Christine out and getting to know everyone 💛 Mags found the perfect sunny spot to top up her tan, while Norman & Gordon enjoyed being surrounded by all the ladies 😊

We finished off with a refreshing raspberry water full of all the vitamin we need and some ice pops, perfect for a warm afternoon 🍧

A truly fulfilling and relaxing day that we all really enjoyed 💫

Today we’re celebrating all things English, from traditions and history to good food and great company. Our residents will be enjoying a lovely day filled with smiles, stories, and a touch of red and white spirit!

It’s been a busy day for our wellbeing team as they’ve been decorating ahead of our St George’s Day celebrations tomorrow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Despite all the preparations, they still found time to fit in our weekly bingo afternoon (priorities!)😄🎉
