Linda Ann Coleman (née Shannon):

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda on 8th April 2026, aged 72 years. A devoted wife to Al, and a much-loved and beautiful Mum to Andrew and Hayley. Linda was a treasured Grandma to Shannon and Layla, a loving niece to Joan, a dear mother-in-law to Mark, and Grandma-in-law to Karris. She is now reunited with her beloved mum and dad - Sheila and Andy and her brother Andrew. Linda will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Linda will be received into Blackley Crematorium on Thursday 30th April at 10:30am. Family flowers only, please. Linda passed away peacefully on 8th April 2026, aged 81 years. Now reunited with her loving late husband Harry. Much loved Mum of Dave, Phil and Alison. Dear Mother-in-law of Barbara and Louise. Treasured Gran of Dale, Ryan, Paul, Harry, Charlie, Lily-Jean and Luca, and a cherished Great Gran. Dear Sister of Archie, and Sister-in-law of Sylvia and Alan. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Family flowers only, donations preferred to Francis House Children's Hospice.

Wally passed away peacefully in hospital on March 31st 2026, surrounded by his loving family aged 75 years. Much loved and devoted Dad of Dawn and Gary. Devoted Son of the late Elizabeth and Walter (R.I.P.) Loving partner of Adele. Dear Brother of Bill, Anne, David and the late Ian and Robert. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Margaret Norma Slack:

Norma passed away peacefully at her home in Newton Heath, on 4th April 2026, comforted by her loving family and friends. Norma, aged 78 years, the loving and devoted Wife of Ray. A precious and cherished Mum of Paul, Christian, Wesley and the late Bradley & Rachel RIP. Treasured Nanna to Chelsie, Gareth, Susie, Nicole, Georgia and the late Jordan and Connor (RIP). Beloved Great Nanna to Harley, Jack, Max, Layla, Lucia, Aaliya, Reggie and Elena. Adored Sister of Stephen and the late Terry, Tony and Rita (RIP). Caring Mother-In-Law to Michelle and Angela, much loved Sister-In-Law to Julie, and Dear Auntie, Great Auntie, Cousin and friend to many. Norma will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all her family & friends.

On Thursday 30th April 2026, Norma will be received into Christ the King RC Church, Newton Heath, for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by Interment at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Moston. Kevin Duggan:

Kevin, of Failsworth, has sadly passed away after a short illness in a hospice surrounded and comforted by his loving family The precious and devoted husband of Anne. A treasured and cherished Dad, Grandad and Father-in-law. Also a much loved Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle, who will be fondly remembered by his heartbroken family and friends.

On Thursday 23rd April, Kev will be received into Hollinwood Crematorium (Failsworth) for service and committal at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations preferred to Dr Kershaw's Hospice. James Downie:

James passed away in hospital on 22nd March surrounded by his adoring family, aged 77 years. James was the loving and devoted Husband of Marie. A caring and precious Dad to Amanda, Nicola and Diane. The treasured Father in Law to Steven, the late Paul, and Lee. A dearly loved and cherished Grandad of Codie, Sam, Georgia, Charlie, Maegan, Frankie and Cole. A loved Great Grandad of Esmae, Avaya, Heidi, Zach, Isla and Sienna, A much loved Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle who will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

Stephen Kenneth Holly Lawton:

Stephen, aged 78 years, passed away on the 11th March 2026 surrounded by his family. Stephen was born on the 18th February 1948 in Shipley Yorkshire before spending his life as a child in Adelaide Australia where he trained as a chef. Stephen, who also liked to be known as Steve, was a devoted Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and a great friend to many. He lived a life full of love strength and kindness and had a heart of gold. We would like you to celebrate his life and remember the wonderful person he was who will be greatly missed.

On Thursday 9th April, Stephen will be received into Blackley Crematorium for service and committal at 2.00pm. For those who wish make a donation to Cancer Research there will be a donation box in the foyer. Elizabeth passed away peacefully in hospital fortified by the Rite of Holy Mother Church on, 14th March, surrounded by her loving family, aged 88 years. Now reunited with her much loved late Husband Tom. Devoted Mum to Irene and David. Nanna of Declan, Imelda, and Kallum, and Great Nanna to Violette and Matilda. Beloved Sister, and Mother-in-Law of Tommy. Treasured Aunt and a special friend to many, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

On Friday 17th April, Elizabeth will be received into the Roman Catholic Church of St Michael's, Whitefield, for a Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Followed by interment at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Moston.
