Caine Steven Downes:

With broken hearts the family wish to announce that suddenly on 29th November, Caine passed away aged 24 years. A loved and precious Son to Steven and the Late Lesley Ann (now reunited). A caring and cherished Grandson to Rose and Fred, and John and the late Carole. An adored Brother to Chloe, and treasured friend who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Alfred Rodgers:

Alfred passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, aged 75 years. A much loved and devoted Husband, cherished and loving Dad, and an adored Grandad and Great Grandad. Also a treasured Brother, Uncle, Cousin and loyal friend, he will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

Yvonne Law (nee Darlington):

Yvonne passed away peacefully on 29th November 2025, surrounded by her loving family, aged 67 years. Loving Mum of Malcolm, Yvonne, Rayner and Jolene. A treasured Nana and much loved Sister of Leslie, Stewart, David, Jeff, Jimmy, Ruth and Carol. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Barbara Robinson:

Barbara passed away suddenly, but peacefully in hospital, on November 26th 2025, comforted by her loving family and close friend Sue. Barbara aged 83 years. the loving and devoted Wife of the late Bernard Robinson (Now Reunited). Loving Sister to Barry, Sister-in-Law to Aurora and Auntie to Lynette, Barry and Stephen.
‘Barbara will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends’.

Maureen (Mo) Brown:

Maureen passed away peacefully in hospital on 2nd December 2025, aged 89 years. Now reunited with her loving Husband John (R.I.P). Caring Mum of Allyson and Julie. Much loved and Supportive Nana of Xenia, Thomas, Frankie and Mak. A dear Sister of Claire and Angela, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Flowers are welcome.

Peter Murray:

Sadly we announce, on November 29th Peter passed away aged 86 years in hospital, after a prolonged illness fought with great courage strengthened by the rights of Holy Mother church. Peter, of Moston, a precious Son of the late Alice and John Murray (Now reunited). The loving and precious husband of Josie. A treasured and dearly loved dad of Paul, Julie, Peter, Ian and Claire, and a loving and caring Grandad and Great Grandad. Also, a loved Brother, Brother-In-law Father-In-Law and Uncle, who will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

On Tuesday 23rd December, Peter will be received into St Dunstan’s RC Church, Moston Lane, Moston, for Requiem Mass at 10.00am, followed by interment at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Moston. Joan passed away peacefully after a long illness at her home in Miles Platting, on November 24th 2025, comforted by her loving family, aged 84 years. The loving and devoted Wife of the late John Quinn (Now Reunited). A precious and cherished Mum of James and John. Treasured Gran of Matthew & Declan, and dear Mother-In-Law of Lisa. Loving Sister of Ann, and the late Syd, Roy, Herbert, Evelyn, Maureen and Mary. Also a dear Auntie who will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all her family & friends.

Olugbenga Adefeyisan (Ben):

Ben passed away peacefully at Doves Nest Nursing Home on Tuesday 25th November, aged 70 years. A cherished and loving Dad and adored Grandad. A treasured Brother, Uncle and loyal friend, who will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

Sadly on the 18th November, Alexandra (Sandy) passed away peacefully in hospital. A much loved Daughter to Vera and Alexandra Hughes (now reunited). A dearly loved Cousin to Christine, Sydney and Norman (Australia), also adored Cousin in law. She will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Graham Maguire:

Sadly on the 16th November, in hospital, Graham passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. The treasured Son of the late Annie and Albert, now reunited, and beloved best friend to Rita (RIP). Much loved and adored Dad to Nicola, Graham and the Late Jayne (RIP). Wonderful, loved, Father in law to Ian, and a cherished and adored Grandad to Ian, Natasha, Daniel, Nuno and Connor. A Great Grandad to Leo-Kai, Ebony-Jayne (R.I.P), Winter-Rae, Delilah-Grace and Hallie-Mae. Also a dearly loved Brother to Ann and Rodney, and now reunited with his Late Brothers and Sister, Bert, Brian, Yvonne and Michael (RIP). He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.
