Ambutech is a clinical led pre-hospital medical management company providing first aid and emergency care training and event medical services. As a registered training centre with Qualsafe Awards and the Association of First Aid Qualifications we are able to provide a vast array of first aid and pre-hospital care qualifications. Vetted and approved by 1st Option Safety to operate within the media industry, we provide medical management services for some of the biggest shows on TV such as Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor and The Royal Variety Performance. February saw a huge weekend for the team, providing medical cover for London’s Chinese New Year celebrations 🇨🇳🐉

Spanning Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Shaftesbury Avenue and Chinatown, this is one of the largest events of its kind outside Asia, with hundreds of thousands of people moving through the footprint across the day.

Our deployment included three medical centres, emergency ambulances, cycle response units, mobile responders and a dedicated command and control structure.

Working closely with London Ambulance Service, including receiving 999 calls from within the event footprint, and alongside police, council and partner agencies, we delivered a coordinated and resilient medical response throughout.

Proud of the team for delivering safe, effective care at scale.

Exciting weekend for the team! 🎤✨

With less than 48 hours’ notice, we mobilised crews across the country to support Harry Styles – One Night in Manchester. Our team delivered coverage for the conference space ahead of the gig, the official after party, and six national cinema screenings including Liverpool, Chester, Edinburgh, York, London and Brighton.

From rapid planning to boots on the ground nationwide, it was a brilliant example of what can happen when a team moves quickly and works together.

Great energy, great teamwork, and a fantastic event to be part of. 👏

🎬 Proud to be Part of Soap History 🎬

We’re absolutely thrilled to have been part of the landmark production Corriedale — the first-ever crossover between Coronation Street and Emmerdale. For three intense weeks, our team was on the ground, providing full medical cover and supplying the in-vision ambulances and crew throughout the shoot.

Working hand-in-hand with cast and crew, we couldn’t be prouder to have supported such a historic moment in British soap history. 🚑💥

Smoke, strobes, sirens, and a whole lot of pressure for our FREC 3 learners 🚨💨

We regularly put learners through major incident scenarios like this, full surround-sound chaos in a foggy, low-visibility environment, to test decision-making, triage, communication and teamwork when it feels real.

Huge credit to our ASW apprentices who stepped up as live casualties and helped make the learning immersive (and unforgettable) 👏

This week marks the start of a new partnership with Mersey Medical Services as we begin delivering the Ambulance Support Worker apprenticeship for their PTS staff.

In week one, every learner successfully completed FREC 3 (with all extended skills), an additional qualification we’ve included to meet the operational needs of their new contracts.

🥾🌿 Monthly Staff Hike - Kinder Scout, Peak District

On Sunday, six of us (plus a very happy dog 🐶) took on a 13km loop to the Kinder Scout summit, passing Kinder Downfall and Kinder Reservoir on the way down. The pace was relaxed, the challenge was real, and the fresh air was perfect for staff welfare and team-building.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined in. Next month’s route is in the works and open to all staff and all fitness levels.

Yesterday we provided full medical support at this year’s Salford Triathlon 🏊🚴🏃, deploying an ambulance, a response vehicle and a two‑bay medical centre. Our team managed a steady stream of minor injuries, with no serious incidents to report.

Congratulations to every athlete who crossed the finish line, and especially to those who claimed new PBs!
