British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Collaborative - survey launch: Your Questions For Women's Heart Health
Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death for women across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, yet many important questions about symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and long term care of heart disease in women are unanswered. This is in part because women are underrepresented in research.
This project, led by Professor Julie Sanders at King’s College London and funded by Heart Research UK is calling on individuals (male and female) with lived or professional experience of women’s heart disease, including patients, carers, family members, and healthcare professionals from across the UK and the Republic of Ireland to tell us the questions that matter most to them so that future research can be targeted specifically at these areas of women’s heart health.
The survey takes about seven minutes, is anonymous, and can be completed at a time that suits you. You will also have an opportunity to complete a short second survey later. Please share the survey with friends, colleagues, and your wider networks so we can gather as many questions as possible.
Together, we can beat the bias and drive meaningful change to women’s heart health.
