We are seeking a Day Opportunities Lead for the HUB in Manchester. The HUB offers attendees to a whole range of inclusive activities , including Mixed Ability Squash, Simply Cycling, Woodwork, Gardening and Arts & Crafts.

You will need to have the following qualifications:
✅A Management Qualification
✅Extensive experience of working in a related social care or health setting, including substantial experience at managerial level.
✅Extensive experience of working with external agencies as partners
✅Substantial experience of managing budgets
✅Experience in recruiting and managing staff and volunteers
✅Experience in arranging transport for customers
✅Advanced knowledge of legislation relating to social care provision in general and disability legislation in particular
✅Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and local policies and procedures in this area.

We are seeking Female Support workers to provide support for Children with additional needs (Autism / Learning Difficulties) in their family homes. WEEKENDS & SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
What you will do:
💜As a Childrens Support Worker, your role will involve delivering exceptional support that ensures the individuals we assist can lead a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and joyful life. You will possess outstanding communication abilities and embody a naturally caring and patient demeanour.

Typical responsibilities may include:

💜Supporting children in their family environment.
💜Demonstrating excellent communication skills and fostering relationships – aiding those we support in understanding their surroundings and encouraging positive connections.
💜Facilitating community and social inclusion – helping children engage with their local community and partake in social events to enhance life skills and individuality.
💜Providing personal care – assisting individuals in preparing for their day. This may involve reminding those we support to take their medication and helping with bathing, showering, and using the restroom. Not all Support Worker positions require extensive personal care responsibilities.
