Fascia = The Physical Pathway of the Meridians When you trace a meridian pathway, it follows fascia lines, myofascial chains, and anatomical trains. In essence: Meridians are functional pathways within the fascial network. Qi = The Bioelectric Signal carries: electricity generated by movement or pressure. Ion conduction. Mechanical tension signals. Interstitial fluid. These are the modern equivalents of Qi flow. When fascia glides, hydrates, and communicates freely → Qi flows smoothly. When fascia is restricted, dehydrated, or dense → Qi stagnation happens. Fascia Holds Emotion — Just Like Chinese Medicine Says. Each organ system stores emotional energy (Lungs → grief, Liver → anger, etc.) Modern fascia science: Fascia contains sensory neurons, memory-like patterning, and tension signatures from past trauma, posture, and emotion. Both systems agree: ✨ The body remembers. ✨ Emotion shapes tissue. ✨ Healing happens through release, breath, and flow.

Stomach is the Receiver, it represents how we take in life — food, feelings, and new experiences.

Natural sweetness, like cinnamon, brings harmony to the Stomach and Spleen. It nourishes, moistens, and relaxes the body. Excess sweetness like process sugar can weaken the Spleen, dampen the mood, increase worry and overthinking.

Harmonise your Stomach with Fragrant Herbal Noodle Broth:

Dry-toast spices on low heat until fragrant: Star anise (2–3), cinnamon (1 stick),
cloves (3–4), coriander seeds (1 tsp), cardamom (1–2),
Fry ginger (4 slices), in a dash of olive oil.
Add to pot with 4 cups veg broth.
Add 1 carrot (diced), 1 onion (halved). 10’goji berries (whole) 4 Chinese red dates (Jujube - whole). Simmer until vegetables
are tender. Serve broth over noodles and fresh herbs - coriander / Thai basil / spring onion.
Enjoy!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), autumn is associated with the Metal element, the Lungs and Large Intestine, and the energetic movement of contraction and inward gathering — a transition from the expansive energy of summer. To support this inward movement, we focus on foods that:
Nourish and moisten the Lungs (to counter dryness),
Support the Large Intestine (to aid letting go)
Encourage grounding, and consolidate energy rather than disperse it.
Mooli Radish soup. 1 small piece of kombu (about 5 cm / 2 inches)
1 medium mooli (daikon) radish, peeled and sliced into half-moons or matchsticks
1 small carrot, sliced thinly (optional for colour and sweetness)
3–4 shiitake mushrooms (fresh or rehydrated dried), sliced
1 small piece of fresh ginger, about 2–3 slices
700 ml (about 3 cups) filtered water
1–2 tsp tamari (or to taste)
A drizzle of toasted sesame oil
