Many thanks to Sinead Cartwright and Esther Ralston from Simpson Millar Solicitors for presenting at yesterday's Brainwaves session looking at the topic of 'From Combat to Courtroom'. Sinead presented a well received session at The Snow Centre looking at the specific challenges experienced when military personnel are injured either when on opertational duty but also in training.

Woohoo!!! We are thrilled to have raised over £11K for Day One Trauma Support in our 25th Anniversary year and look forward to continuing supporting them in 2026. Watch this space for more news.

Also, our Clinical Director, Colin Green was thrilled to be invited to join the Fundraising Committee and looks forward to helping with some exciting plans

Over the past year, their team has gone above and beyond to raise an amazing £11,036.26 through a range of activities from taking on the Manchester 10K, to hosting a quiz night and celebrating their 25th anniversary with a special dinner.

In response to recent increased demand in our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service we are looking for an experienced, creative and flexible physiotherapist to work alongside our existing musculoskeletal physiotherapist in our Royton Clinic.

The successful applicant will be working in a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment with a company with 25 years of physiotherapy excellence

We are initially looking for the following hours for this employed position:

Tuesday 1530 -1930
Wednesday 1530 - 1930
Saturday 0900 - 1300

This is to allow us to serve our clients who are not able to attend typical office hours appointments.

Adam is a five‑time World Champion trials bike rider, a sport that demands balance, precision, strength, resilience, and an unbelievable level of body awareness.

These qualities translate well into neurological rehabilitation, where attention to detail, problem-solving, and patience make all the difference. Adam understands movement at a world‑class level — and now he’s channelling that expertise into supporting our clients on their rehab journeys.

Tengas un buen viaje, Eleanor!!

We all wish our Senior Neurological Physiotherapist, Eleanor Jones an enjoyable and safe 6 month sabbatical as she travels through South America. She is working her final day (for now) before she sets off next week.

Eleanor is planning on learning Spanish, surfing and travelling on Chicken Buses....

Eleanor will be back with us in early September but her caseload will be in safe hands...watch this space to welcome Adam to the Physio Matters Team next week.
