It's National Social Prescribing Day!

Social prescribing is help that doesn’t come in a pill, tube or bottle. For example, you might feel happier and healthier if you get out for a regular walk with others, do something creative, volunteer or have a say on the things that matter to you and your local community. There are lots of ways you can access social prescribing and services are available to all adults across Greater Manchester, while children and young people’s link workers are increasing.

If this sounds like something that might help you, please speak to your GP practice who can connect you to your local team. You can also find out more information on our website (link in the comments below.)

NHS Greater Manchester is running a short survey to learn more about people whose shoulder pain hasn’t resolved with conventional treatment and may need further clinical care.
They are especially keen to hear from people who injured their shoulder:

• Through sport or exercise (e.g. rugby, martial arts, gym training)
• Through manual or repetitive work (e.g. plastering, construction, trade work)

If that sounds like you, we’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete the survey (link in the comments below). Don't forget to share with anyone who might be interested. Thanks!

Congratulations to all the team!
