📌 Cervical Radiculopathy (Nerve Pain from the Neck)
Do you have pain that starts in your neck and shoots down into your shoulder, arm, or even into your hand? You could be dealing with cervical radiculopathy.
⚡ Common symptoms:
• Sharp or burning pain down the arm
• Pins and needles or numbness in the hand/fingers
• Neck pain or stiffness
• Muscle weakness in the arm or grip
• Pain that worsens with certain neck movements
🧠 What causes it?
Cervical radiculopathy happens when a nerve in your neck becomes irritated or compressed. This can be due to:
• Disc bulge or herniation
• Age-related wear and tear (spondylosis)
• Poor posture or prolonged desk work
• Previous neck injuries
🏃♂️ What can help:
• Targeted physiotherapy assessment
• Nerve mobility (neural glides)
• Postural correction & ergonomic advice
• Strengthening deep neck and shoulder muscles
• Hands-on treatment where appropriate
🚨 Don’t ignore it:
Early treatment often leads to faster recovery and prevents symptoms from becoming long-term.
If you’re struggling with neck and arm pain, get assessed properly so we can treat the root cause — not just the symptoms.
