For 2026, enjoy World Book Day with us on Thursday 5 March in The Venue from 2pm - 3pm.

Come along in your favourite book character fancy dress, and we’ll have fun trying to guess which story you’ve stepped out of. Whether you’re a hero, a villain, or a magical creature, everyone is welcome to join in the excitement. Bring your imagination,
creativity and love of stories for a day of literary fun that’s sure to inspire and delight. 🦸

As our own version of the winter games come to a close, our village Exercise Specialist, Kelly Sullavan looks back on two incredible weeks filled with laughter, teamwork, and just the right amount of friendly competition.❄️🏅

Week one brought the excitement with curling, figure skating, skiing, and hockey. Week two kept the energy high with a duathlon and mountain hiking challenge!

At our closing ceremony, everyone was celebrated with participation medals, and for the final time, we proudly passed our torch until next time. 🔥

What an amazing event — we can’t wait to do it all again!

We've had some special visitors, this week, welcoming Mobile Farm Cheshire to the village for our customers to get up close and make some new furry friends. 🐇🐐

Catherine from our Experience Days team said:
"What an amazing visit we have had. Our residents, tenants and Experience Days customers especially loved the Pigmy Goats prancing around in their nappies and having cuddles with all the smaller animals."

🌟 Living Our Values Awards – January Winners! 🌟

January was an incredible month, with an overwhelming number of nominations pouring in. Choosing winners was no easy task and that’s all thanks to the amazing dedication shown across our team. 💛

✨ 1st Place – Sophie Halliwell
A huge congratulations to Sophie, whose smile, positivity, and infectious happiness brighten everyone’s day. Sophie received an incredible number of nominations, a true testament to how valued she is. So well deserved!

✨ 2nd Place – John Parkinson
Our very own John takes second place for going above and beyond to support one of our residents and their family, helping move furniture and belongings with his usual kindness and reliability. John is always there when you need him, thank you for everything you do!

✨ 3rd Place – Christine Thomas
Christine earns third place for her fantastic behind‑the‑scenes work planning and organising our bistro. Christine raised funds at Christmas to serve our loyal regulars a delicious festive meal. What an incredible way to give back to the community!

A huge congratulations to the Chanters team for working together so exceptionally and always putting our residents first. Your teamwork and commitment truly shine.
