Soften your look: 👇

The number one worry I hear from patients is they
are terrified of looking fake and ‘done’. Treatment results don’t need to be this way, if you see the right Dr.

✳️ Interestingly, stress can cause an increase in cortisol in the body, causing premature fat pad breakdown in the face. This occurs naturally with age but can increase with EXCESS CORTISOL - tips on how to reduce cortisol can be found in my Calm in the Chaos Campaign posts. (This is why when people have undergone a lot of stress in their lives they feel they can
‘see it in their face.)

✳️ This lovely patient had undergone a lot of deep fat
loss in her face causing her midface to look a little sunken and flat. She had lost support to her upper white lip and this meant the red lip had ‘folded underneath. Her chin had also lost fat pad volume laterally.

✳️ After a thorough facial assessment a treatment plan was formulated to be carried out over a few visits-treatment transformations are usually a journey.

✳️Treatment over several months:
- Midface revolumisation
- White lip/ ‘smokers lines’ augmentation
- Lip augmentation
- Chin augmentation (medical genioplasty)

✳️ Results are natural and give a much softer appearance to the face, leaving my patient happy that she now looks more like how she feels.

It can be confusing and daunting choosing someone to look after your face, I am here to answer any questions you may have, don’t hesitate to contact

My ✨ Secret ✨ Polynucleotide Layering Eye Technique…

🟢 Using TWO TYPES of polynucleotides:
Type A which stimulates collagen production for firmness
Type B known for its anti-inflammatory and skin regeneration properties

this dual approach maximizes rejuvenation, providing long-term benefits.

🟢 Polynucleotides are:
🧬 injectable fragments of DNA
🧬 derived from salmon or trout s***m
🧬 cause the body to send stem cells to whatever tissue they are injected into
These stem cells start creating new skin cells therefore more collagen and elastin. 🧬 It’s essentially like GROWING A SECOND SKIN!

THIS is what 1ml should look like - how? 👇

❇️ Are you worried about looking ‘fake’ with a 1ml lip treatment?

❇️ Or are you scared you will:
- look like a duck on profile with 1ml
- have migration with 1ml
- look like you have ‘been done’ with 1ml

❇️ DONT WORRY - THIS WONT HAPPEN (not with me anyway)

The result ACTUALLY depends on if you see a medical practitioner with:
✅ skilled injection technique

✅plethora of treatment techniques to call upon depending upon on your lip shape

✅excellent anatomy knowledge - to avoid complications mild or severe

✅watches how your obicularis oris muscle contracts as you smile and treats accordingly
✅ uses the correct product

✅treats in the correct plane

In actual fact, 1ml is 1/5th of a teaspoon - a teeny, tiny amount. 0.5ml is fine if you have almost no upper lip at all, otherwise that 1/10th of a teaspoon with 0.5ml will be lost in the fullness of your lip.

So don’t be scared of 1ml - it really doesn’t need to look like you think it might 💚

⭐️ Treatment: lip augmentation
⭐️ Results: immediate, usually lasts lyr before the results START reducing
⭐️ Downtime after treatment: most people continue their day as normal after treatment, it is normal to have swelling after treatment and possibly some small bruises, the above photo is straight after treatment.

The secret of looking less tired👇

🟢 Why do we start to look more tired with age?
All the layers in our face change as we age. but when we start to lose the deep fat pads in the face, this can cause an acceleration in a change of appearance.

There are 3 main fat pads that contribute to signs of aging in the mid portion of the face:
deep medial cheek fat
medial SOOF fat
lateral SOOF fat

These three fat pads give support and volume to the cheek, holding the skin upwards and out, away from the face. Over time, the fat pads naturally get broken down and dissolve, causing the skin to collapse down and forward, creating folds in the skin from nose to mouth (nasolabial fold) and a flatter cheek. This gives us a drawn and more tired appearance.

🟢 2 ways to treat this:

revolumising the shrinking fat pads

OR (if less significant loss of fat is present)

treating the nasolabial folds directly

This has been done above using carefully placed dermal filler - results are undetectable, except you just look fresher, like you have had a really good nights sleep.

🟢 Treatment: nasolabial fold treatment

🟢 Results: immediate, usually lasts 1yr- 2 yrs before the results START reducing
Downtime after treatment: most patients continue their day as normal after treatment

You always look 😴?👇
Do you feel like you look more tired than your friends (even though you aren’t partying/ late night Netflix binging as much as them)?

🟢 Why does this happen?
From our early 20s, all the layers in our face start to change, and we start to lose the deep fat pads in the face. The 3 main fat pads that break down over time are in the mid portion of the face:

deep medial cheek fat
medial SOOF fat
lateral SOOF fat

🟢 How does this happen?
These three fat pads give support and volume to the cheek, holding the skin upwards and out, away from the underlying structures (such as the TEAR TROUGH). Over time, the fat pads naturally get broken down and dissolve, causing the skin to collapse down and fall flatter against the underlying structures. The ‘TEAR TROUGH’ - the depression between the lower eyelid and the cheek becomes deeper, making us look tired.

🟢 How can I make it look better?
By revolumising the fat pads using carefully placed dermal filler, this supports the tear trough by lifting the tissue up and away from this depression again and a fresher patient is revealed!

🟢 Can’t I just have my tear troughs treated?
Often patients think they just need their tear trough treated, the depression under their eye, but it is VITAL to treat the fat pads that support this area first, otherwise its like trying to fill a bucket of water with a few drips from the tap. It won’t work! Tear trough treatment is the finishing touch and the icing on the cake. Obviously every patient is different and needs to be clinically assessed before treatment plan can be made.

⭐️ Treatment: 1ml cheek augmentation and 1ml tear trough
⭐️ Results: immediate, usually lasts 1yr- 2 yrs before the results START reducing
⭐️ Downtime after treatment: most people continue their day as normal after treatment

Want to feel more confident? 👇🤩

🟢 Lovely Gordon keeps our chicken tasty as a manager at Nandos 🐓, loves to travel 🌍 (he’s a wandering soul like me) and is going to Bali in a few weeks 🏝️.

🟢 When I first met him in April 2022, he felt unbalanced and like something wasn’t right in the lower half of his face. He didn’t really like photos being taken from the side and wanted to feel more confident.

🟢 To solve this problem, I balanced his profile by treating his CHIN. He also wanted a stronger, more masculine look, therefore I also treated his JAWLINE. When a chin is retrognathic (set further back), it also means the soft tissues of the jawline don’t have much traction from the front of the face to keep them taught and tight and they can look slightly softer. So having the chin treated by itself also helps the appearance of the jawline. Gordon just wanted that extra definition.

🟢 The third photo shows the results before and after treatment to his chin in 2022 and then 9 months down the line when I added a little extra to his chin.

🟢 Assessment
When the lower jaw sits slightly further back than the upper jaw, it is called ‘mandibular retrognathia’. It is often be addressed as a teenager, when having orthodontic treatment, using braces to bring the lower jaw forward. However, we can also change this using filler to balance the profile.

There were two options:
* Surgically: orthognathic surgery
* Non-surgically: Re-shaping the chin in a non-surgical manner, dermal filler being the option

🟢 Treatment:
- 4ml dermal filler used: 2ml chin, 2ml jawline
- 2ml in chin at 9 months later for a little more projection and blending

🟢 Results: immediate, usually lasts 1yr- 2yrs
