A few of our creative ladies enjoyed a blooming lovely morning arranging colourful bouquets, to display in a variety of areas around the home💐

Beryl reminisced about her wedding posy, which included carnations and roses and Anne commented her favourite flowers have always been red roses 🌹

G'day mates and sheila's, Monday was 🇦🇺

We celebrated by making our own boomerangs, decorating them using traditional Aboriginal Australian dot work - we achieved this look with cotton buds and acrylic paint 🎨🦘

Our very own Ann has strong ties to Australia, with her daughters living there. She shared memories of her visits and spoke about how it’s one of her favourite places she’s ever been.

We know Ann’s family often engage with our posts, so a big shoutout to them — supporting our home all the way from Down Under 💜

Burns Night, celebrated every year on 25th January, provided a lovely opportunity to bring our residents together for a fun-packed day. Combining arts and crafts with baking, there was so much fun to be had 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨

We baked traditional butter shortbread cookies, listened to Scottish music and learnt more about Scottish folklore and creatures - such as the shy but independent little haggis and the mysterious Loch Ness monster 🐉🍪

Here are some action shots of our residents partaking in the RSPB 👀🐦

In our bird watching station, Bob caught site of a blackbird nibbling at some bird treats we had made in the morning 😋 🐦‍⬛

Whilst Gillian earnestly watched a pair of robins dance in our garden tree 🌳

We managed to catch site of 11 birds in total! How many did you see? 😊🐦

For , we got to crafting and made some adorable bear hug puppets 🧸🎨

Our ladies attached their hand coloured bears to a toilet roll, with extra long arms for that bear hug factor 😆

Discussion lead us down memory lane, with Gillian having fond memories of Paddington Bear 🐻💜
