Well, that’s not something you see every day…

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful Chelsea, our Generation Fitness instructor - but this visit came with a twist. She seemed to have grown a few feet taller overnight! 🤩

As part of our celebrations, Chelsea arrived on stilts, complete with glowing LED wings, and made her way around the home, stopping to visit everyone along the way. She certainly turned heads! 🧚✨

We jokingly offered her a feather duster while she was up so high, but she assured us there was no need—no cobwebs or dust to be found here, thanks to our amazing domestic team!

Beryl was amazed at both Chelsea’s height and her incredible balance, while Andrew said the lights reminded him of Christmas 🥹🥰

A huge thank you to Chelsea for bringing something so unique and memorable to our home. We all thoroughly enjoyed your visit!💜

Good news - our Generation Fitness sessions will continue as normal. We’re excited to welcome our new instructor, Ollie, who starts tomorrow, and we look forward to introducing him to you all then! 💜

What an unforgettable time we had last week when Kelvin J Wood joined us, bringing hit after hit from across the decades!

From toe-tapping to a full dance floor, he had everyone moving and singing along - the energy in the room was absolutely electric 💃🏼🕺

Hi all, I would like to introduce myself. I am Stacey Butler the new manager of Four Oaks. I have worked in care for 26 years and commenced my role in the kitchen, laundry, housekeeping, care, and been in management for the last 11 years. My passion is dementia care and I have studied a dementia degree with Bradford University. The team and residents have been very welcoming and I am looking forward to working with everyone to provide stability and identify any improvements required.

Matilda the Musical! 🎭✨

Last week, Headteacher, Keith Cahillane, from Official Abbotsford Preparatory School very kindly invited us to attend a performance of Matilda the Musical, performed by the talented children at the school.

And what a performance it was! From the fantastic set designs to the music, and the professionalism shown by all the children and staff involved, it truly was incredible 👏

Thank you so much for the invitation — everyone absolutely loved it. You were all amazing! 🌟

Who doesn’t love an Easter egg hunt? We certainly did! There was lots of excitement as we searched high and low around the home, seeing who could spot the hidden eggs filled with delicious chocolate treats.

Wendy proved to be quite the expert, finding plenty along the way — and even sharing her treasures with friends in the lounge 💛

The game brought so much laughter, a touch of friendly competition and a few lucky Easter winners too - with Margaret, Beryl, Ann and Maureen all managing a full house.

The Easter Bunny was spotted hopping around our Home yesterday… and she didn’t come empty handed!

There were chocolate egg deliveries for everyone, lots of laughter, smiles and surprises - staff were just as excited 🤩🐣
