A little hello from me 👋

I’m Rachel – a Consultant Plastic Surgeon here in Manchester. I focus on Plastic and Aesthetic surgery for women. And this is me at STAR Clinic 😊

My approach? Thoughtful care, honest conversations, and results that look beautifully natural 💜

A few things about me:

1️⃣ I became a Consultant in 2016, and my career has taken me from Australia to Leeds and now the North West. I’ve carried out upwards of 6,500 procedures, including many breast reconstructions after cancer treatment.

2️⃣ Breast health is a huge part of my work – and something I’m deeply passionate about. 🌸

3️⃣ I’m a big believer in women feeling strong and supported, especially during exercise. Movement is key to our ongoing health and so the right sports bra can make all the difference!

4️⃣ You won’t see before-and-afters here. I prefer to focus on education and trust - that feels right for me and the women I care for.

5️⃣ I also see many ladies who’ve had surgery abroad. My message is always the same: research carefully, choose safely, and take your time.

Before you book a flight for surgery abroad, take it from and speak to a UK-based surgeon 🇬🇧

Your health isn’t a holiday extra - and there’s a lot to consider before committing to treatment overseas.

If you’re still planning to go abroad, make absolutely sure these safety essentials are in place:

🩺 Full pre- and post-op assessments with qualified professionals

📖 Clear, honest information about the procedure (no surprises!)

🚫 No ‘stacking’ of multiple surgeries in one go

👨‍⚕️ A skilled, reputable surgical team

✈️ Avoid flying straight after surgery - blood clots are a real risk

🆘 Access to expert aftercare if something goes wrong

I’ve sadly seen too many female patients return from overseas surgery with major issues - confused about what they’ve had done, unable to contact the team, and dealing with long-term complications.

✨ Safe surgery isn’t cheap, rushed, or part of a package deal.
