This is any procedure carried out to refine or correct the results of a previous breast operation - whether it’s augmentation, reconstruction, or reduction.

There are many reasons why women consider a secondary procedure:

Choosing a surgeon is a huge decision. You should take your time, and do your research before making your own, individual choice.

I recommend that you talk to your prospective surgeon, read lots about the procedure, find out about the risks and long term implications, and discuss it with family and friends. You might also want to know about other people's experiences of the same operation.

Your health isn’t a holiday extra - and there’s a lot to consider before committing to treatment overseas.

If you’re still planning to go abroad, make absolutely sure these safety essentials are in place:
